Madara was foreshadowed since part 1, Kaguya wasn't mentioned at all until the late war arc. It sucks. I'd even take a cute ending with Obito talk no jutsu-ing Madara into a good guy. But there is still hope. Boruto is just an Infinite Tsukuyomi dream, and best boy Madara has won, right? Right?
