Isn't it funny how at this point Chorizo's relationship with Kazuya mirrors the one he had with Mami from before the story began?

Nah, it's actually even worse than that. He didn't even hear her confession thanks to the crowd, so he asks her to repeat what she said and instead of "suki" (I like you) she say "tsuri" (fishing) as in, "let's go fishing later," not, "I like fishing." She looks like she's gearing up to try again though at the end there.
