Insert threat to humanity

>insert threat to humanity
>insert a pathetic mc
>mc gets inflected with whatever the threat to humanity is
>mc is torn between his human side and monster side
>mc accepts his new life with a change in his appearance

You do realize you can do this for literally every story in existence right?

Nope it only occurs in young adult tier shit.
You admitting that proves that its done to death.

No I mean you can make an incredibly cliff notes summary and apply it to dozens of other stories. You can do this for every story in existence. Yes, even the classics.
If you're just pissed about this particular thing then I guess, nothing wrong with that.

This.
In Moby Dick Captain Ahab is half fuckin sperm whale.

Almost as if the story has themes and structure it adheres to
Why is everyone so obsessed with exposing the formula nowadays?

Was Part Re: any good?

Enjoyed the first part, but never got around to finishing the whole thing. Saw some shit on Yea Forums that was less than complimentaryl

Robinson Crusoe is a half Más a Tierra island.

Finish the first part, and then honestly just stop there. The only problem with that is the unanswered questions, but it's a better story if you stop at the end of part 1. Part 2 will answer all your questions, but it won't satisfy you if you want a good story.

>missing the point this hard
See

There is no point to miss, these stories follow the exact same story beats that are deeply associated with shallow story telling.
Whats the point of stories if they're being manufactured to fulfill a teenage fantasy.
The idea here is more than just an anime ,this type of story telling would open the door for mediocre companies to cash on the low expectations of their young audience creating a spam of non-story.
As op said you can literally make a computer do that for you.

It's funny because parasyte still manages to be a deep story. It's almost as if. You can't. Judge a story. On just. It's beats.

>you can literally make a computer do that for you
We already do that, it's called prompts and they are all cancer. Prompts don't make a story what it is though. You clearly aren't a writer I don't know why you're talking about something you have no idea about.

>parasyte still manages to be a deep story
No it doesn't its just a power fantasy, the environmental message is a mandatory front.
> Prompts don't make a story what it is though
you just wait for A.I to reach the optimal lvl performance and you'll see _also dont talk as "we"

Kek

You're making the same mistake so many terrible writers make. Plot points don't make a story. From characters to pacing and prose, A.I. is a long ways off from being able to reach and optimal level of performance.
>it's just a power fantasy
Did you even finish it?

Who the fuck said that i was a writer?
>Plot points don't make a story
Yeh no shit ,the seven basic stories or what ever ,don't mention the self aware post modern that make fun of tropes.
>Did you even finish it?
Yes.

>Who the fuck said that i was a writer?
Oh I'm sorry I just assumed you wouldn't talk about something you know nothing about.
>Yeh no shit
Then stop saying an ai capable of generating story beats is capable of creating a good story
>yes
no

>on the spot fallacy

>I just assumed you wouldn't talk about something you know nothing about.
all that you've done is to make assumptions about me ,stick to talking a about the subject
>Then stop saying an ai capable of generating story beats is capable of creating a good story
you brought this up from the beginning ,i dont care about beats and ai i just know that computers will write stories
>>yes no
whatever man

>muh fallacy
You realize that's a fallacy right? Articulating the nature and context of the observed fallacy is the correct way to do it. Just stating the name of the fallacy is fallacious. Ignoratio elenchi to be specific.

>stick to talking about the subject
I am, you're the one making arguments from a place of authority you simply don't have.
>you brought this up from the beginning
>point is literally in the op
My brain right now, is a sea devoid of fucks.

> you're the one making arguments from a place of authority you simply don't have.
Well its up to you to classify the positions of the argument ,thanks for placing me over you as an authority ,i didnt even hint at that its just an idea
>your bullshit
op said computer make story
you said muh Prompts
i said computer gets better

>mfw write markov chain to read sample stories and generate random stories from them
>getting really rich on the ln market, hundreds of yens
>some known western fantasy/sci-fi also from me
>classes on academic literature studies my obscure work
