the duel wasn't just shitty on her part the author completely demolished her character. first, she doesn't trust tatsuya at all. tatsuya says he won't do it instead of thinking about why it's bad to do she just assumes he should submit. during the duel she doesn't trust him not to be vicious either instead tries to interfere instead of believing that he'll show mercy. afterwards he explains about it's a trap trying to send him into exile and she not only doesn't accept it but she tries to emotionally blackmail him and tell him he's isolated and doesn't have anybody supporting him. yes, she's trying to emotionally blackmail him into being sent into exile because she wants him to submit to peer pressure. her character got destroyed when she said he was isolated and then all his real friends said "no, we'll support".
