I'm not trying to talk smack about the God Warriors, I'm just pointing out how much it all spirals down - Ultraman himself was originally based on the designs of classical Greek Gods, complete with a fancy circlet and beard (The concept would be sorta repurposed in the anime "The Ultraman" in the 70s where Joneus looks like a Greek mythological hero).
