Its was, Uprising pacing was a bit shit but this is the arc that Isayama showed that alot wasn't just another overhyped shounen manga with horror elements. Its fleshed out the world, made it feel more alive and added substance to it. It also brought up more questions and answered alot of lingering ones.

Not to mention that with the wine stuff revealed, Eren's involvement and potential paternity introduces us to the idea that the baby might have not been the result of a plan (or at the very least not of any plan we're actually privy to).

It's so weird, it feels like the first part of the song is literally Ymir's POV since it refers to her wondering the Walls and meeting Krista/Historia after "hearing her name in a conversation". Even the "never hear you sigh of ecstasy" part feels like regret about never seeing her again. Then from the refrain onwards it feels like it's all mixing up and the later part of the song sounds a lot more related to the cave stuff and Historia "awakening" and telling Eren to wake the fuck up and "get back out alive". Same with the references to "hero" and "zero" since a lot of Eren's angst at the time came from his own perceived failure to upload the role he gave himself as mankind's beacon of hope/hero and there's a literal mention of "saving you", which is what she more or less did in the cave. Not sure who's the "trigger, killer, eye of the storm", but I assume it could refer to both Historia who positioned herself as humanity's enemy and Eren who's literally at the center of everything because he has the Founder within him.
The whole song is a strange combination of Ymir's thoughts towards Historia, Historia's own thoughts towards her and then towards Eren that all end up colliding. Interesting.
