But, to fit your description best, Yandere Kanojo. There's two releases [online and physical] you need to read simultaneously usually by flipping from one to the other every chapter, but it's got a very calm and collected MC and a cute yankee feMC who establish a relationship chapter one and it goes from there for a good amount of chapters with some real fucking good plots and side characters along the way.

The tone is sweeter in Anjou, it's less comedic. The "punchline" in every Anjou chapter is usually just Seto giving up and going along with her flirting. Also Anjou isn't beating around the bush. The only reason they aren't officially dating is Seto. Anjou has made it very clear she likes Seto in that way.
