Something like 7-8/10, some flaws here and there but they genuinely wanted to make a good show.

I liked it a lot, it tied up its themes and arcs very nicely. Very balanced ending that didn't go for any needless drama. Hyakki got to live but still has to atone for almost becoming a shura by searching for his own path/humanity, Daigo got a deserved taste of bitter regret and actually reflected upon his actions. Jukai's death made sense conceptually but how it actually occurred could be seen as a bit contrived, but I don't think there were many other ways they could have pulled it off as part of the main narrative smoothly.

Yes, that looks like a daylight savings issue. As you can see in the earlier screenshot, the majority of the uploads were at the same time of approximately 14:00. They obviously had some issues with releases n the 16th and 29th of April (the latter being Golden Week), but there was also a delay with episode 2 or 3. Those once-offs aside, it shouldn't take a genius to realise after episode 17 what time the episodes are coming out at.

I'd like a more light-hearted OVA with them reuniting and visiting the village of the Donburi Belly chapter which is the only arc not adapted in the anime.

The show's been quite consistent in that it espouses people being punished for their sins, but it tries to present a reasonable outlook by pointing out that these sins also don't have to define their characters. The ones who die are those who do let their guilt or anger consume them, but this isn't presented as absolute either: plenty of people also die for no good reason at all. That's the point it was trying to make by having them part only temporarily. It makes sense thematically at least for me, I don't think it's fair to say it was put in just as a reference to the manga.

Maybe grown-up Hyakkimaru and Dororo bringing flowers and offerings of rice to the graves of Dororo's parents, Mio and the orphans, Itachi, and Hyakkimaru's family. They can also go to the Hall of Hell and find Daigo's corpse with a sword in his belly, implying he committed Hara Kiri, so they burn down the Hall of Hell and cremate Daigo's body. Then it ends with Hyakkimaru and Dororo married with kids.

Im pretty sure it would be permament if Hyakki died, but the pact got broken. Also the Hyakki mother, father and brother were trying to achieve peace and even if they have made a mistake (which i think they didnt) they still were acting in good faith unlike egoistic Hyakki who made alot of people die to recover his body parts.

Really enjoyed it, only gripes about it ended were based mom doctor dying for no reason and Dororo spilling the beans to the three sketchy stooges.

I got it how Tahomaru's soul was incomplete because his mom couldn't give him love and so Hyakkimaru realized they were similar for missing a part of themselves. However I was confused about the last demon appearing and the red part that Hyakki killed. But did it basically possess Tahomaru's soul/heart?

The general consensus is that it's good. Watch it and make your own judgement.

There could be an OVA of Hyakki's journey of atonement where he sees all the people he met on his journey again.

Yeah that we do not know. The deal was only Hyakkis body for peace. Deal has nothing to do with demons killing innocent people, we can safely assume demons were killing people even before the deal. They couldnt deal with them and couldnt know that Hyakki would be able to defeat them. At that point you could say that making a deal is a good idea.
And thats the problem i have with the series. Noone states this. Hyakki doesnt even think about that. O internal monologue or recollection whether hes doing a good thing or not, he just wants his body parts. 0 depth to the story.

Honestly, this is the first post HxH anime that I feel bad about ending. Sort of felt bad about DiU also, but that had an extremely well done anime only wrap up episode.

I get this feeling whenever a 2 cour show I stuck with ends. Watching something every week for half a year really just makes leaves me wanting to find a new series to stick with to fill the void.
