Every single one of his films is a boring snoozefest that everyone pretends to like because muh pretty pictures
pic related average Miyazaki fan
this but mobage are getting better at it somehow
Thank you. Miyazaki writes the most boring tropic archetypal stories that say nothing about the world and are only watchable because of the massive animation budget he routinely received.
>the title is a run on sentence explaining the premise of the story
>no ecchi, smut, or slice of life tag
This is because the mobile game stories are usually pretty loose so the anime staff have creative freedom to put in their own ideas which they put more effort into.

Why would I watch some anime studio's retarded fanfiction interpretation of the source material with poor art and animation that only adapts half of the story instead of just reading the source material?
>being transported into another world (except Konosuba and ReZero)

>fantasy world that's just the most uncreative shit ever
>Exactly 12 episodes
Because committing to 25 light novels is quite the decision especially if the series is ongoing and nowhere near close to being finished, and since shit adaptations tend to only ever get the bare minimum right you'll be able to see if you are interested in the source material after a couple of episodes.

From my experience, LNs aren't that long generally. You could probably read one in a couple of hours, it's not that much more of an investment than reading a manga of a similar amount of volumes. I've seen people have the idea of reading the source spoiling the anime adaptation, but it's the opposite to me. If I think I might want to read the source there's no way I'm going to touch the adaptation as I'd want my first experience to be with the source. I can generally tell if I'll like something from the description and tags on various sites, but then I also don't read isekai so that might not be enough if you for some reason do actually want to read isekai and want to pick out the ones that are less trash from the rest of them.

Isn't the average length for a series around 15 books?
And (speaking for myself of course) i take ~4-5 hours for the longer LN volumes compared to ~1 hour for more text heavy manga volumes.
But that's less of a point i wanted to make the bigger issue is that an ongoing series will be running for several years often in ideal situations drippfeeding new volumes every three months.
> it's not that much more of an investment than reading a manga
It's not that much more, manga series have the same issue just on a worse scale.
>Isn't the average length for a series around 15 books?
I was more talking page count per book. And I dislike the seasonal aspect of ongoing anime and prefer the way manga come out weekly or monthly. Is 3 months between volumes of LNs the norm? I wasn't strictly talking about reading ongoing things in my original post and I haven't followed any LNs as they've come out.

Yes, that means I don't watch 99% of current anime. That doesn't actually mean very much to me because I have a huge backlog of 80's, 90's, and early 00's shows to watch. Yes, I'm comfortable with this.

>I was more talking page count per book
i wouldn't say they are that short in that regard either, as far as i can tell they average at around 250-300 pages only the very short ones go down to 150 pages.
>Is 3 months between volumes of LNs the norm?
Based on the series i am actively following yes, though it's not rare to take even longer ,if you look at releases in japan.
>and I haven't followed any LNs as they've come out.
I don't necessarily only refer to LNs as i said manga has the same issues, tho if you don't mind weekly/monthly release schedules for chapters it's of course not an issue for you.

Everywhere else except for Amercia they do that.

Unless steins gate is scifi isekai
I don't mind isekai if it fucking does something different, youji senki being a good example of that
