The finale is here my fellow 6-10 anons still watching this anime.
Shoumetsu Toshi
This show definitely had its moments.
I couldnt usually find a thread for this show. I figured people werent watching it
i'm pretty sure i made nearly all the threads the second my rss notified me it was out
i was too intrigued to drop it
just like beatless
She should have just chose the easy way out.
End
it started out kinda weak but after a while i really enjoyed this show.
jesus christ how horrifying
i'm glad she didn't die without doing anything useful
I think i usually watched the episode a day later usually so thats probably why i didnt see it
Everything in its right place.
FUCK
I KNEW THIS WOULD HAPPEN
What happened to him?
he remembered yuki, but she didn't remember him
although maybe by leaving that scarf thing that might have helped her remember
anyway i'm pretty sure he went back to doing his usual courier job
What a waste of time. The only good episode was the one about Yuki's mom.
"A normal happy life, in a house by the sea with green curtains."
She got what she wanted in the end.
Even though she broke the promise that she would never forget him.
Yeah, what a dumb motivation not to choose that route.
His friends made it sound like they didn't know what happened to Takuya. If he was still alive and remembered I don't see why he wouldn't try to tell them. Or maybe I'm just misunderstanding.
he obviously remembered yuki since he went to her house but after that he probably just fucked off into the sunset
can you really blame him after all the shit he went through
Smiles that weren't protected.
+ all the other cute girls that died
daycare lady
investigator lady
suzuha
Well it was better ending for Yui than in the game.
Overall I think they could have done way more with the anime.
she dies in the game?
Brutal
>'You know all those people who suffered and died? Well you can choose for that to have never happened and everyone will get to live happy lives.'
>'No.'
What the fuck is wrong with Yuki?
she said it herself, choosing 1 universe rejects the other (the current one)
the lost happened, the past is the past - people have moved on, new people have been born
if she choose to go back she would be "killing" 10's of thousands in this current universe which would be the same as the lost
RIP
I needed more Souma.
So what did you think of this anime?
bit of a rough start but it got better each episode, i thought the premise was pretty interesting so i kept watching it
personally not a fan of the way it ended but i understand why they went they did
6.5 / 10
Can't say I hate it, but I will most likely forget this easily. Kinda feel bad for Takuya.
It's okay, needed more sakuga with the scooter early on.
Kind of bittersweet, so I’m not exactly happy. It’s like Irodoku World of Colors all over again
i actually dropped that around ep 3, how did that end
Hitomi gets her ability to see colors again, and she heads a club of what looks like children of her previous friends.
PA Works botched the writing towards the end, apparently all the magic and stuff can send Yuito and Hitomi to another dimension but it can’t send Yuitl back with Hitomi.
well that sounds like trash i'm glad i dropped it there instead of wasting my time on it
I don't know, the anime wasn't bad, but it has left me indifferent. I will most likely not remember it in a year. I enjoyed the idol and flashback episodes, but then you have character deaths that are extremely weak, and I wasn't a big fan of the climax of the episode. I guess it's like a 5 or a 6 for me.
It’s not that bad per se. Hitomi realizes that she’s not able to see the world in colors without friends, I think the main disappointment was because the last episode got the folks riled up that Yuito was going to go back with Hitomi and it didn’t happen.
took way too long to gain its footing find a plot or a focus in the story. I was hoping to see more of the troupe but the quickly got sidelined.
I would only recommend watching the mother's episode and not looking back.
The love went unrequited and they didn't even progress much which might have upset people, but made sense with the way they set the story up. Also it seemed like Yuito was alone after Hitomi went home and we have no idea what his future was like other than the book he made. And they couldn't be together because time magic is really powerful and you can't fuck with the timelines or whatever. It was bittersweet ending.
WHAT THE FUCK BROS
WHERE IS MY BEACHSIDE HOUSE, 3 KIDS AND A DOG ENDING?
director said you can only have 1 of those
It was getting better, but the ending just made me feel "oh, that's it?"
I'm sure I've seen this exact ending multiple times before.
Best episode was definitely the flashback one.
> let's break up
> runs out
> runs back in
> scarfs down dinner
> let me put a baby in you
now this is advanced autism
Now play the game.
nihongo wakarimasen
BASED
So the mom being alive in the perfect timeline but dead in the current means that she was killed by Lacuna or whatever. They never did reveal how she died.
It's not the role of the Observer to interfere. Yuki is a good girl who deserves to have a big bald head and live on the moon.
>Yuki gets her dream home
>no father, mother, Souma, or Takuya
>no procreation
she truly lost everything didn't she
her life is incredibly sad and i feel terrible for her
I’m kind of sad I watched this as well. Not a bad ending but could have been better. I thought the ED kind of hinted at a life where everything before Lost was restored.
i always find "bittersweet" endings the worst type to deal with
Well it’s definitely better than a bad ending. I’m still curious as to who is taking care of Yuki. Also don’t know why Takuya doesn’t reveal himself to the others who don’t know where he is
the people taking care of her have to be those 2 scientists i'm sure maybe takuya left so his presence didn't trigger her memories? then again that doesn't make sense since he left that scarf there
who fucking knows what he's up to
The rest of the folks still don’t know where he is. Geek asked the two scientists if they think Takuya is still out there
Also it’s kind of ridiculous she worked so hard to keep her memories in tact only for it to be reset in the end. No clue if she remembers her family and what happened to them
if she forgot someone like takuya i personally think she forgot her family as well
i mean, her mother, father and brother all died and i thought she was pretty miserable because of it
not to mention all of that lab torture testing she went through
the world is "saved" and yuki is a clean slate living a normal life
that's how i took the ending
Probably the reason why Takuya didn't want to get back into her life. It would trigger all those bad memories. Although still weird he won't at least tell Geek or his detective friends that he is ok at least.
if he told them he was ok they could potentially tell yuki ? i don't know
maybe he thinks it's best to completely disappear
This anime had the potential to be a lot better than it ended up being.
Damn. This many people were actually watching this show? I thought 4 other people were watching it.
Rip thread not even 100 posts
i'm pretty sure a third of them are mine
This would be a better ending, more impactful and real.
Does Takuya die too?
I’d say 25% are mine. I was most of the posts in Ep 11
i reply to most people just to make the thread more visible in the vain hope it gets more people to watch this
Honestly, I don’t think it’s worth watching. I tend to watch shows that nobody watches or think highly of and it’s kind of waste of time to convince people. I liked this show, but everybody’s got different tastes
i'm just upset isekai / harem trash + DBZ ect gets 90% of the attention and shows that try and do something slighly different just get ignored
God forbid somebody try something new. I’ve never touched One Piece or DBZ, Franxx or whatever trends on Yea Forums or elsewhere. I’m probably one of two people that like Glasslip.
So is LOST still there? Just a giant supernatural hole in the ground forever.
I think people learned to live with it. The people sort of moved on, life continues to go on no matter what. Reminds me of LoK and the Spirit Vines
someone spoil the whole plot to me
I literally only watched this for Sugita, but I don't really know about this. It had some potential, but none of that potential was really met.
alternate dimension humans (universe a) are fucking dying or some shit
send over some elite agents to universe b to help save them
one of them (daichi) falls in love with a universe b woman, has a child
decides that the research he is doing is too dangerous and tries to stop opening the portal
leader of the b humans fucks with him mid experiment
this timespace travel fuckery blows a hole into japan (the lost)
10s of thousands are now lost in the lost
some of them with particularly strong feelings kinda stick around as like, force ghosts called tamashi but honestly they didn't really do shit
daichi sends out some gamma waves telling his daughter, yuki to come to the lost
a whole bunch of shit happens (basically episodes 1-11)
she is driven there by courier takuya
meets her dad (daichi) + the head researcher
is given a choice to keep living in this world post the lost incident (universe b2) or to go back before the lost happens and ensure it never happens (universe b without the lost happening")
she tells dad the past is the past and decides to keep living as is, because choosing 1 universe rejects the existence of another
show ends with her losing her memories of everything that happens
sorry i meant to say leader of the a humans (taiyo) , not b fucks with him mid experiment
thanks, i can't be motivated to watch the episodes
I wish Sugita would get a nice meaty role in something again. With BlazBlue over, Haruhi dead and Gintama nearing its end, I only get to hear him in bit roles anymore.
His role as Yang in RobiHachi was good. He sounds like he enjoyed playing it too.
Speaking of Sugita, when's he getting married? He's actually pretty well-liked by other female voice actresses, though most of his bigger fans might be a little young for him.
He deserves happiness, if anyone does it's him. I completely forgot what I was going to do a write up about the story, I'm sure it'll come back to me in the morning. Maybe the thread won't die when I remember.
Dude's apparently super nice. You always hear stories about him from other voice actors. He's always bringing new faces to get togethers and introducing people to others constantly, so he ends up having a huge network of acquaintances. Iguchi once recounted an experience back when she was a newbie VA and she was working in a different type of sound studio from what she's normally used to. Apparently, Sugita realized she was troubled, so he taught her everything about the studio. And back when Nakamura was living on his own for the first time, he got lonely, so Sugita showed up at his place and stayed over for a week until Nakamura told him to go home already. Apparently, he was strongly influenced by Yukana, who was kind to him back when he was starting out, and he decided to be just like her. Everyone loves Sugita.
Seriously, the more I hear about him, the more I'm amazed someone like him exists.
I guess Yuki didn't like Avengers Endgame.
The show failed to make me care about any of the characters and spent most of its time not going to Lost and when it does, it goes there because Taiyo was going there, not because Yuki and co. finally became able to go there.
>loses her entire family in the end because she didn’t reverse Lost
>no epilogue showing her with a new family of three kids and a pet to signify she’s made the right choice and moved on despite hardships
