Again, the voices are actually fine. It's the dialogue being straight up unnatural to hear in English that's the problem. Lines that were adapted to be as impactful (ha) in English as they were in Japanese are now just literal translations and don't carry forth the same weight that they do in Japanese to a native English speaker, the fucks at Khara just -do not- understand that.

Comedic sections play out absolutely fine, but the more intense serious moments feel lackluster. Neither Shinji's, nor Asuka's VAs can push the emotion regardless of the script.
