It needs an anime adaption. It just does.

As an spin-off it works fine but I prefer the realistic original story Emergence Is way better with portraying the real risks and consequences of being shy and quiet in a ruthless society, while in this version everyone is nice and well intentioned.

I think that being quiet would be much more safe than opening your mouth and revealing your thoughts to the world.

I think that's exactly what would happen if this was another manga, after all even in this one being perceived "hard to approach" because of her beauty was a point
Usually what follows is just the mc showing everyone else that she's a normal girl and not a snob after all

A manga with a different mood would portray the characters with a lot of flaws and personal conflicts instead of all of them surrounding Komi like she is a saint. Many of them being mean to Komi for their own sake would be pretty obvious. Tranny character would be probably the meanest of them.
