I disagree. Many characters have pretty cool concept for quirks. The problem is it's a story where almost all of them are novices who haven't fully unlocked the potential their powers can have. At least the villains are starting to get more interesting with their power ups atm.

I haven't watched Naruto but I think I can relate when I compare to Bleach instead. So many cool characters, where with this we have a few cool ones but many forgettable, especially deku. Granted I look at boku no hero even more kiddy so it can get away with it if I'm not being critical.
