No, there isn't really a combat benefit to being a big bundle of boobs, belly fat, ass, big hips, and fat thighs, but who the fuck cares? "Muh realism" gets brought into the topic of idealizes of beauty in fiction largely as one avenue of feminists trying to find victimhood where they can't point to anything of substance in real life (muh unrealistic standards of beauty). You can't appease someone who's so desperate to have a legitimate claim to victimhood that they'll work backwards from the premise that they're victims and label any facts that debunk them as just more proof that people are out to get them.
