It's just sweaty sports JCs being characteristically NOTGAY like in all the sports anime.

You predicted well, episode 6 had some pointless drama.
Aside from that episode the series is fun enough but it's hard to recommend when I'd only rate it 8th or 9th out of the 10 series I picked up this season.

Seven Kirara shows in the pipeline. I wouldn't be surprised if we got some more in the near future too (KinMoza season three, New Game season three, K-On Shuffle, a Kirara Fantasia adaptation, etc...).

If they spread them out enough it should avoid any more gaps for a year even without any new announcements.
We at least have a full series and the Gochiusa OVA for next season while we wait to know when any of the others are airing.
