Here I'll explain it to you, the act of phoneposting is indeed piss easy and gives you the ability to post wherever the fuck you are, but this is also it's main disadvantage, if you want a quality post then it gets arguably hard to do so, it's easier to deliver a one liner accompanied by whatever image found on google, and even if you take your time and make sure to make a good post, most phoneposters wont, plus they are the kind of people who actually browse Yea Forums on public. Degraining a work doesn't have much of a purpose beyond satiating people who think "crispier is better, grain is a flaw." I don't see much of a purpose to removing film grain from a work, since that's the original art. It's not remastering or upscaling, just removing part of the original artwork because people think it looks better. And when done badly, we get shit like Disney's Cinderella rereleases, where large chunks of detail is removed in the idea that it's degraining, and thus better.
