I am reading the LN right now because I cant wait for the manga and so far I must say the Kyo arc is complete shit while Kizuna and Nao bonding was comfy the arc was just garbage in general, I mean volume 8 might as well be filler since nothing really happens until volume 9. Kadokawa wanted to animate something and CR suggested to adapt the Shield Hero LNs. After a 4 year proyect, they delivered a shitty adaptation (they've been planning the show since 2015 and started animating it in 2017).
The DVD/BD sales were pretty average, and while the LN sold a lot of copies and the streaming revenue were fine, there is a low chance of a season 2 because Kadokawa already tested the oversea market and our Guinea Pig Hero showed it has a moderate popularty but not the one Kadokawa wants (stuff like Overlord, Slime, Konosuba and Re: Zero are more popular than SH by a long shot)

I dunno, I don't quite fully understand the motivations behind certain character's actions or why Naofumi is right while other characters are wrong, but I kept coming back for more. The Lazy King is great despite how it sounds if you read a description/summary. It's also a completed work so you don't get stuck waiting for new chapters.
I also like the girl who ate a death god, but not everyone likes it and it's not actually isekai. It is however a shared universe with the Author's other works, so you get to see little tidbits of the other works if you can remember people's names unlike me.

She was both called God as well as Satan is God-Tier so far, but you're going to be waiting on translations. Also not actually an isekai, or maybe it is since another story by the writer might imply it's actually a personalized VR simulation?

Gyaru Tensei was great. It's manga only and got axed.
Kumo is pretty good, but the mtl hell until you get back to legible translations is exhausting. I wouldn't recommend it to the ill prepared

She was trying to mate with him BEFORE Motoyasu entered the picture with his curse. Motoyasu merely made a situation where he couldn't avoid it without sacrificing Melty the cloaca. The slave seal was barely working before Motoyasu entered the picture already.

There's also no narrative reason for the bow hero to mention "oh it might work on demihumans" unless it really did work on demihumans unless proving it wrong was s a dropped plot.

After volume 4 the LN starts deviating from the WN, having story arcs that don't appear in the original story (volumes 8, 9, 13, 14 and 17 to 22 for example).
