Season 3 part 2 is as good as Breaking Bad, but only this part. The rest is still pretty good, the storytelling and mystery is excellent. Not sure what the problem is, it keeps you on your toes with the questions it asks and your mind active in trying to figure out what is going on while having extemely high tension and scale throughout. No progress feels undeserved and there's tons of attention to detail.

Where it fails completely are the characters, which are completely unrealistic anime tier and mostly flat archetypes mean to be cool and easily relateable. But the storytelling is God tier.

After years of hating Attack on Titan I finally watched it and boy do I feel like hypocrite

As the title suggests, I've known about AoT since it started airing and while it peaked my curiosity, the premise of giant naked people seemed silly to me so I never really gave it a chance. To further push me away was all the friends I had that completely obsessed over it and made so much fanart of it and shoved it in my face day by day making me sick. Season 2 came out and I still had some disdain but for whatever reason last week I stumbled across the OST for the show and started giving it a listen, I was amazed at how a soundtrack could be so good for a "bad" anime so I decided to give it a proper shot and watch 3 episodes that night...Only that 3 episodes turned into 10 and I only got 4 hours of sleep before school. I spent the whole day hype and right when I got home I grinded out the rest of season 1, then I watched all the OVA's the next day, then all of season 2 the next day. I literally looked in the mirror after watching it and started laughing my ass off after realizing how much of an idiot I was for not giving it a chance sooner. Now I'm saving fan art and looking into reading the manga while simultaneously bothering all the friends from before as I'm met with countless "I told you so!"s. The reason I typed this paragraph out is because I feel like it could convince some people who are wary of watching that they should give it a shot first. (Annie is best girl and I want more of her in season 3 pleaseeeee)

Is probably THE most overrated anime ever. Most people really love the first anime they ever watch, and AoT just happens to be the first time of a lot of people. And I kept on watching past the first 2 episodes because it was so praised I thought it may have payed off at the end (like Steins;Gate) but it kept on disappointing. I have a hard time seeing how they'd come to the conclusion that Eren's the father when even the higher ups don't know shit about this pregnancy aside from whatever was served to them during the background check or from Historia herself. Seems more to me like something happened in the last timeskip year that kinda disturbed the whole group. AMJSC were most likely not aware of Eren's suspicious activities but I think we can assume he started hanging out less with them or progressively closing himself off as a result. Not sure what could've happened on Historia's end but their silence on her situation does seem to imply there was *something*. Maybe AMJSC didn't want or feel like they could pry in to deeply either and just let her be. We need more fucking flashbacks ASAP.

Even that conclusion would be difficult to come to when they had no idea the higher ups were planning to feed Zeke to Historia asap, since it was supposedly a secret scheme.

The royal blood part is technically already covered since there's another royal on Paradis, if anything what would be absolutely necessary would be serums and nothing else. But the problem isn't so much the decision to fool ZY on his true intentions but the fact that he actually did the exact same with those who were supposed to be his allies, scheming behind their backs as well and causing unnecessary deaths on Paradis' side and the complete political destabilization of the nation, in the end for the purpose of a plan that is according to Armin himself, hardly any different from the original 50 year plan the higher ups already wished to implement.
