Toji is gay in the Netflix dub. In the English language version they replace references to his sister with references to his boyfriend. His dialogue with Kensuke is thoroughly flirtatious. The other thing I’ve noticed from what I’ve seen is the characters seem to usually (not always?) address/refer to Rei by gender neutral pronouns. This is completely fucked up, not because it’s LGBT related but because they’re actually changing the story. This is embarrassing for Netflix. I’ve only watched bits but I’ll update this as I go on.
