>6 years later
>it's still the most beautiful anime of all time
Why can't the anime industry top it?
6 years later
cringe melodrama garbage
looks like some kind of gay pixel art.
That looks like someone peed over a ghibli movie, although I can't say what's the more disgusting part, the ghibli style art or the piss.
Only true men of culture have the intelligence to understand Kotonoha no Niwa's true meaning.
Not even close
Kotonoha no NIGGER
>melodrama can't be beautiful
I've seen both this and 5cm/s, and I had no fucking clue what the hell was going on in either one.
Animes normally have black lines at the edge of objects and people, looks like they removed that, or in some instances replaced it with a white line, this gives it a unique look. I Don't necessarily think the anime is more beautiful than others though.
>they didn't procreate
Too bad the movie itself was pretty uninspired
When she comes back from her hometown they will, don't worry abe-sama
>Shinkai
>uninspired
Sorry, these 2 don't go together.
Kimi no Na wa. was more beautiful
Except it looks very distinctively different from Ghibli.
5cm per Kotonoha no Nawa
Which is?
I though it was that the boy and the woman had their struggles and they kinda helped eachother. The boy however was super confusing and i dont mean the romantic part but the fact that it wasnt shown in the movie that he really struggled to become shoe maker.
Overall very poorly directed and written +climax moment felt confusing.
it's ugly CGI garbage with a lot of colors , the only beautiful thing about it were sensei's feet
There's little to no CGI in this movie. Next.
I would watch this.
aren't he background fully CGIed
Rotoscoped =/= CGI
This
It's really bad
There is this one chink anime where guy ate some noodles at the beginning and which was on Netflix that pretty much looks as nice. Also one (chink too) series about guy playing some online game
Just wait, senpai.
Beautiful, blue balling anime. At least make a follow up you trope riding hack.
>literally just make everything green
Hina a cute.
Its an artistic choice k?
everything shinkai does is uninspired
I'm not a footfag, but this movie always swayed me
The absence of black lines is what made this so appealing in my eyes. This is a seriously well-made anime for what it is.
>"look mom, i'm a contrarian! i'm so cool!"
Grow up.
>everyone who has a different opinion than me is a contrarian!
Here it is.
>The boy however was super confusing and i dont mean the romantic part but the fact that it wasnt shown in the movie that he really struggled to become shoe maker.
He's still in school at the end. Shoemaking is still just his passion, not his vocation, and throughout the film we watch him fuck up, from bad material cutting to bending nails he was hammering in, and never once complete a pair. We also see that he's somewhat successful, since in the post credits 'six months later scene' he has a finally completed pair of shoes, but they still look janky, with obvious seams and stuff.. So I don't know what the fuck you're talking about.
Even Shinkai's least good film is still absolutely stunning. Is there nothing this man can't do?
5cm is overrated
personally, I'd have to say beyond the clouds is my favorite of his films
it's rough around the edges in terms of character design (lending it charm), but the plot is interesting, the soundtrack is great, and the visuals are still fucking amazing even today
I agree. But Garden of words is nice too (not the plot tho!)
