How frequently we were getting threads probably didn't help. As much as I like the series I don't have enough to say about it to post tons in daily threads and it was getting close to that regular at some points.
I noticed in the last few threads that when all the shitposters left the thread pretty much died completely so I assume other people feel the same.

DO NOT let threads for a series you like become what the threads for Made in Abyss have become. With the manga slowing down recently we haven't had daily threads but for almost two years there was a thread up 24/7 and it is awful now.

We could combine Colours and Wataten threads so there more to discuss.

That has nothing to do with anything. This season in particular saw an increase in shitposting in all kinds of loli threads for some reason, possibly because there isn't any particularly big show airing right now and because Yea Forumstards seem to really want to force a fanbase war with Bocchi since that series is also by Katsuwo. As you saw in all those threads, ignoring and reporting does wonders so that's literally all people have to do instead of playing along or trying to out-troll trolls.
This is just another trial in the way of lolicon for Yea Forumsnons, so don't let it get the better of you. Be patient and never stop loving what you love.

I've already threatened in a previous thread doing a shit translation on this at some point if no-one else picks it up.
I just want to believe someone that's actually good would do it before then as I imagine I'm at least a year away from being able to read it reasonably well, and even then I'm sure I'd miss a lot of jokes and ruin it.

Just because it would stop being illegal to scanlate something doesn't mean that it would start being profitable for publishers to pick up translation of every little series, so scanlators would still exist, and fight over dumb shit.

I usually never had a problem going to a scanlator's site to scope chapters that hadn't made it onto MD, but now that they're pulling chapters down, I can't keep track of where I was, because of course their shitty sites don't have that capability.

Volume 6 from another site doesn't seem too bad either aside from someone leaving the overlay on it for 1 page.
