Are they using the same release as Funi? They also started uploading S2 before they started releasing S1.
Even though neither picked up S1 at the time it seems retarded to upload it the way they did considering the only people who would be able to jump straight in are those that watched the fansub.

Only just today I found the folder I made for that show and remembered I wanted to watch it. Is it that underwhelming?

I enjoyed it, but yeah it's quite underwhelming, and I'd give it a 5/10

If you enjoy Danchous antics it's worth a watch, since they are basically the same character and there is plenty of yuri moments. The main plot is something about school club battles, it's extremely generic and forgettable.

The problem is the MC was the only half-memorable character. Everyone else was pointless and boring. Milli Arthur has better characters overall.

It's not popular in Japan, looking at the pixiv tag, it's dead as fuck. I think we'll just have to be glad to have gotten two full cours. Though given that it's a game ad, it's probably not completely out of question even if it isn't popular.

It doesn't look like low budget either. The art quality is very consistent and I often see action scenes with nice detail.

It's pretty good for what it is, you rarely see mobage ads that are this well animated. The quality or the lack of thereof is also not solely dependent on the budget, but it's above average in any case.
