Previously, Ooki left to confront Kouji, Yuko's ex. Takashi and crew went after him and found Ooki had already dealt with him and was about to drop a cinder block on his head. Takashi got him to stop but his insecurity flared up and he pushed Yuko away, especially when she said they should help him as Kouji was badly injured. Not wanting to go back to Karen's Ooki suggested they go back to his place which Takashi and Manion did. They learned his family ran a funeral home and that he wasn't as bad a guy as they first thought.
At school Takashi was lectured by his teacher about being safe as the teacher didn't want to see him die in a wreck but all he could do was get pissed thinking about Yuko and her ex and the fact he hadn't spoken to her in days. He was concusmed by these thoughts even while meeting up at Mitsu's to head out to the big gathering.
Manion, meanwhile, was able to borrow a bike for the gathering as he was tired of having to sit on the back. Meeting up with Shinobu she expressed concern but Manion told her it'd be fine and they made plans to go see a movie on Sunday. With all the pieces in place everyone began heading towards the gathering spot to get ready for the big raid on Nerima.

My experience riding on a motorcycle begins and ends with what I'm pretty sure is a Gorilla (i.e. the little bike Manion has) that I had when I was like 7 or 8. I remember riding the shit out of it until my brother jumped out in front of me once and took a handlebar literally through the face. Even has a nice scar on his cheek to this day because of it.
