Your words cut deep , deeper than any blade
Your words cut deep , deeper than any blade
We all know OP will never get laid.
Katanas are historically the sharpest swords in human history, engineered and designed for unparalleled cutting technique. They are forged to be harder than any other variant of sword to deliver more devastating cuts to an enemy, whereas other swords are oftentimes flexible and sturdiest only at the point of their crossguards. A katana is entirely hard from base to tip, making the sword brittle, but unsurpassed at slicing. It is not unusual for a katana to also be far sharper than any other sword as the edge is typically honed to a finer degree. Other swords rely on inflicting blunt trauma, such as broken bones, but a katana swordsman can cut with precision into the most vulnerable areas of the human body inflicting mortal wounds with minimal movement, the swordsman being able to conserve and expend his energy far more efficiently than if he swung erratically and wildly around with no real aim, discipline, or technique - all habits which other swords, save for the rapier, encourage. (But that rapier is a thrusting weapon, so that is a conversation for another time.)
In short, the katana is vastly superior cutting alternative to words.
Naruto kept getting better till the chunin exams and peaked at lee vs gaara. After that its been down hill.
Don't say "but pain" that wasn't half as good as lee vs gaara.
there should've been like two or three more stories in the same vein after this
build the setting a bit more
Lee vs gaara was literally just a fight and shouldn't be compared with a full arc. Also it's overrated as shit, Sarutobi vs Orochimaru was better.
>Other swords rely on inflicting blunt trauma
swords used for clubbing?
i think thats not a sword then
Naruto peaked at the filler episode when team 7 tried to see what Kakashi's mouth looked like
based dub
Edgy boi
Chunin Exams are overrated as fuck, Sasuke Retrieval arc was the real peak of Naruto
Orochimaru should have been the main antagonist through the whole story.
That Akatsuki and Madara shit was retarded as fuck.
this tbqh, don't know why people sleep on that arc
Everyones too busy jerking off to Lee vs Gaara to remember that most of the other exam fights weren't even that good, the Sasuke Retrieval fights are all way more cool and interesting
Agoatchimaru was the only intriguing true villain in the show, his neutering killed the franchise ding dong diddly dead
>most of the first part and the first arc of the second part are spent setting him up as the main villain
>becomes irrelevant as fuck once Akatsuki is properly introduced
>ends up being little more than a stepping stone in Sasuke's rise to utter edgelordy power and later on comes back just to help the good guys
What the fuck were they thinking?
Kishi only cared about Naruto, Sasuke, and the Akatsuki after Part 2.
This
wasted opportunity
Lee v Gaara was the only good Chunin exam fight. The first Naruto v Sasuke at the Valley of the End is lit.
If you cant grab the blade of your weapon and smash some guys brain in with the hilt than your sword isnt worth shit
Why is Steve Blum so based?
yes, that arc was good. also had the best OP imo
Naruto doesn't really have a "peak", which implies that the show is like a curve that goes up until the peak, then goes down until it hits rock bottom.
But rather, i woul say it's like a wave with several ups and downs.
To me, it goes up until the end of the Zabuza arc, then it goes down for a little while, but goes back up during the Forest of Death.
After the sasuke retrieval arc, it hits its ultimate low point with the time skip, which is handled very very poorly. It's just terrible.
But it goes back up when Sasuke basically becomes the main character for like 10-20 episodes when he fights Orochimaru, Deidara, and Itachi.
Then it goes down again when Naruto talk-no-jutsus Pain and i literally lost interest in the show altogether and stopped watching.
This arc was fantastic
It's easily the best arc of the show
