Well the next gamble against the Komaeda/Kokichi ripoff had a fairly interesting conclusion, but the pacing and length was complete ass and the underdeveloped gambling club wasn't strong enough to carry the arc. Nobody died so you can't say it was an "edgy killing game ripoff", but it sure was edgy.

I really did try to like it at first just because the art is mostly decent, but binging the first three chapters already felt like a slog to read through. It doesn’t feel like the author really has a solid grasp on what he’s doing yet and where he wants to take his story, which is not necessarily a bad thing by all means as a lot of shounen manga tend to go through this phase in their beginning periods. But things just don’t feel like they’re really connected to each other and the plot isn’t circulating enough to keep my interest. The MC is also an annoying turd with a generic design to boot, all of his dialogues make me want to puke
