Every modern iteration of these Warner cartoons is awful and fails to capture what made the shorts of the 40s and 50s great
And we don't even get to see the racist ones anymore.
I'm working on this show and is correct.
Not on TV or streaming, but they've been releasing them on DVD for years.
A lot of the “politically incorrect” shorts like Jungle Jitters can be easily found on YouTube
That's not official though.
They are still released on video
Boring and soulless. The animation quality is good, but it doesn't look "better than any anime made in the last 20 years".
Okay, than name one anime that looks better than this.
Is this a joke? The shot composition in this short literally has the depth of a sidescrolling video game, the colors are bland, and the designs are like children's toys . The only redeeming quality in this is the animation quality.
You can throw a dart at any Yuasa work and it will look better than this.
Sorry buddy, but animation is a visual medium. I care about how good it looks in motion, not how good it looks in a still frame.
This.
>animation is a visual medium
Yes, every single thing I pointed out are visual elements. Are you just pretending to be retarded?
The background in pic related is several orders of magnitude superior to the backgrounds in the video you linked.
looks like boring garbage just like any american media
Sorry, I meant it's a kinetic medium.
Yes, that would be more impressive if these were comic books we were comparing, but I'd rather of more effort out into the characters than the background. That's what animation is all about, the illusion of giving a drawing life.
>I care about how good it looks in motion, not how good it looks in a still frame.
It looks terrible in motion because of how bland the framing is.
This is like saying cinematography and set design don't matter in film as long as the actors move realistically.
I wish Miyazaki made an Ace Combat movie
>single background
>just a couple cel layer traversals
Meh American animation never recovered from its transition to the small screen way back in the 60s.
Budget dont mean shit. Most Burgerland shows cost more to make than the average anime series.
Such bland and sleep inducing animation. That's the US' biggest problem. The kikes have brainwashed them so much, they think animation quality is exclusviely determined by amount of frames. Stylized animation that shows characters from various angles and positions is better animation than this. At least the arists show actual artistic skill by letting their creativity run wild. Animation is a medium that allows for almost unlimited creative freedom and Americans produce THIS. Fucking hell.
You don't have to care that much about how actors move because they're always going to move like genuine humans. Meanwhile, how a cartoon characters moves in 99% of what animation is.
That's the epitome of soulless. It looks like a cheap imitation of classic Looney Tunes with zero heart. The terrible colors especially.
Duck Dodgers and Looney Tunes Show were great but for the most part you're right.
