Quick story here, but it was when these episodes were airing that I got into Shippuden. I was still a normalfag and after my country stopped airing Naruto before the Sasuke Retrieval arc I just went back to other shit. Years later while screwing around on the Internet I found some previews of the Sasuke Itachi fight and was confused but also utterly hooked. Soon I also discovered the manga and got into the series proper. Great times.

Why do Naruto dickriders give Naruto a pass for ass pulls and convientant story breaker power ups, and not Sasuke who pretty much had more excuse to be a broken hax machine wielding the ancient mythical Sharigan, being a elite super genius shinobi and basically being every super villains Petri dish of experiments and plot coupons to fucking boost the kid up.

If anything Naruto is the unfair one and the special God mod golden oc here, he gets the power of gods and the genetics of legendary kings and heroes. Naruto gaining Kyuubi's friendship, while slightly rushed, was a logical conclusion to the entire story.
Him gaining trust of other Bijuus was extension of that.
Senjutsu of the Six Paths was Naruto combining Bijuu Chakra Mode with chakra of all Bijuus with Sage Mode. All logical conclusion for what was with Naruto.
Meanwhile, Sasuke got Rinnegan because... How did he even got Rinnegan? Hagoromo gave it to him despite Sasuke telling him his intentions? Kabuto pumped him with Hashirama's cells to save his live, and apparently was better at it than Madara, thus giving him Rinnegan, but only one because Ashura's chakra was mostly in Naruto one? Every time Sasuke got new eye powers was because plot needed him to have them to proceed, but it wasn't something he had to really work for.
Contrary to what people may think, Naruto is pretty fucking talented, despite struggles caused by being Jinchuuriki, ranging from teachers that hated him to Kyuubi's chakra making his chakra control harder.
Also, Sasuke WAS born with superior genetics to Itachi. Indra's chakra is literally making him superior to Itachi.
