Honestly, the most ridiculous thing about the LOGH lore is how quickly Rudolf apparently remodelled the Galactic Federation in the year 3000 or whatever into 18th century Prussia, and turned all of humanity into an agrarian farming empire with spaceships. That is very hard to believe.

I've never seen the show before but noticed how shit the edits were on episode 7 so I got a torrent of the LD release and its potato quality. Seems like a matter of pick you poison, but which do you recommend?
I'm only on episode 9 now.

I went with the BD rips. The LD resolution was for ants, and it's not like the redraws were replacing scenes arbitrarily. Still, it's your preference.

I feel like its worth sitting through a few shoddy redrawn scenes if it means the rest of the show is in so much better quality, but some anons the other day were saying certain episodes like 25 or 26 were ruined.

I'd like to hear their arguments for this. I'm looking at 25 now and I don't see what's so terribly unusual. A lot of the early scenes are redrawn is what I notice.
25 and 26 are pivotal episodes with a certain major event happening. I wonder if that's related to their complaint.

The LD scene was on youtube so I did a quick compare. The animation quality for the major scene in question is about the same in either case, but the redraw seems to have a couple odd pauses where a crowd of people appear to be standing around like morons instead of doing something. I'm guessing that's the complaint.
