That Super Sonic puppet looks awful and cringe-inducingly out of place and I say that as someone who unironically enjoyed the Sonico anime AND owns a dakimakura pillow of her.
Do we know for a fact that Setsu Mushou is ressurected "for real"? My first though when I saw those pictures is that it's either a flashback to a scene that occured int he first season (or even before the events of the movie) OR that its an illusion along the lines of "dude lmao imagine if the Screaming Phoenix Killer came back" to scare and/or being a foil of sorts to Sho/Rin. You know how it goes, like a "this villain is what could have become of YOU had circumstances been different" or "this is the result of YOUR fuckups" kind of deal.
