Pro reproduction propaganda
misturu and kekoro

Turns out that if you're gonna write a plot-driven story, you need to actually finish it before airing.

Didn’t live up to the hype, shit ending, shitty fight scenes, unlikable characters, there’s a lot to hate so take your pick.

was unironically a beautiful love story in an interesting dystopian future setting until the plot completely went to shit

drop it after episode 6 if you're watching it for the first time

Yet the same people had been screaming for dino-babies and only shit on the 'Abe', 'muh babies' propaganda when Hir02 died in space, childless.

Generic female lead with no psersonality/waifu bait WOW!!

Can't expect that to succeed. Same reason VEG bombed.

Having a single episode where you give the entire back story when you waste time on shitty cuckold side plots.

>Generic female lead with no psersonality
Nigga did you even watch the show?

>"hey producer-sans I have this plan for this really great anime that'll be like old Gainax reborn if we get the right people"
>secures funding
>makes 6 episodes
>"okay team, that was a far as I extensively planned out over the last few years but don't worry I know where we're gonna go with it"
>episode 15 airs
>"okay team we have 11 episodes that we still have to make, who's got any ideas?"
>"Recursive tropey drama? Dropped plot points? Focus on unpopular side characters? ALIENS? Bad end? Yep sounds good to me"

Ikuno is cute.

They gave us the most bland characters as the main characters,Zorome should have been the MC

dude 2 cour series but we only planned until episode 15 lmao

everyone makes good points but i honestly think it was the companies fighting with each other and not being able to work together to put a good story together, also the writers apparently have a hard on for aliens and space. could have just ended with a gainax ending hinting at a revolution and things would have been great. But yeah it was the studios conflicting with their idea, thus why the first 15ish episodes where god tier

Seems about right.
I bailed 30 seconds into episode 7.

Its what happens when you give someone funding with half a script done but you believe in their "pedigree" and then they shit the bed.

Would it have been better if they just killed the dinosaurs and it ended right then and there, and papa wasnt evil at all? I wonder if a plain jane show like that would be any good.

Too much gurren lagann type of god complex bs They could've kept the antagonists a threat without putting them so over the top forcing Zero2 to go full god unicorn. Ton of potential with the story and what not. the characters were bland but that wouldn't matter as much if the story they told was better.

Should have hired the manga writer initially and then followed their vision, or any sort of competent writer honestly. Not everything needs to be TTGL levels of rediculous

The absolute worst part was the moral faggotry arc, which was literally more gay than mob
>lewd shit for the first few episodes
>slime attack
>ogling the girls is bad
>but you can a little bit
>pervert
>fan service comes to a complete halt
fucking shit

>t.gay
ironic.

Nothing.
Nishigori is based for triggering the brainlets.
This is a timeless masterpiece, controversial right now just like any other masterpiece before.

Everything

>fan service comes to a complete halt
You don't think they made up for it in Gridman?

If you think this is bad you're just a contrarian faggot trying to fit in.

Literally any other Mecha that does this sorta plot does it better. For fucks sake, Muv Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse is easily better than this, and that shit went on for 2 cours and HAD the material to work with to make it work.

I can acknowledge it was pretty bad, but I was content to see IchiGoro become canon. It was gratifying to see a girl make a mistake in chasing one boy, get rejected, then grow and mature enough to realize a far better option existed.
For me, Darling delivered. I feel sad for the dino-couple fans who didn't get theirs.

>literally Have Sex: The Anime

The unironic answer for why it became bad is most likely that the staff simply didn't have enough time to work on the show's script and concept. A normal thing for TV anime, where everything has to be produced on an extremely tight schedule.
Because of that, stress builds up, mistakes happen, communication between the three studios a1, cloverworks and trigger breaks down, people get fed up with the project, the marketing division demands results, the director starts hating his own work, and so on.

But as long as there's still some retarded dumb otaku in Japan who buy waifushit merchandise, it ultimately was still worth it. Because in the end, that's what really matters to the producers. That there be enough dumb sheeple otaku who waste their income on worthless plastic crap and shitty music cds after watching a show that has some nicely drawn female waifubait character.
