Do people actually enjoy JoJo unironically? The battles are fun and all but the plot is filled with holes and asspulls, the writing is either convoluted anime bullshit or Araki showing off some trivia he read on the japanese equivalent to r/todayilearned, and the pacing is so uneven that you can clearly see it as Araki steering a train while simultaneously putting the tracks down. The art is pretty good though.
Do people actually enjoy JoJo unironically? The battles are fun and all but the plot is filled with holes and asspulls...
>The battles are fun
>The art is pretty good
Have you considered people could enjoy something fun?
thinking is the sissy's fetish, feeling is where's at
I don't, dunno about jojofags
>battles are fun
>art is good
Do you go in the grocery store to buy oil for your car?
Do you go to the kitchen to shit on the sink?
please use the catalog and stop making duplicate threads
Someone who understands...
Battles are always fun and that's the point
The story is mostly garbage just to get to another baddy of the week and as soon as you stop caring about it unironically, the better
>the plot is filled with holes
And you've got holes begging to be filled, come here user *unzips dick*
>Do people actually enjoy JoJo unironically?
Yes, it's a very entertaining series. Are you one of those losers who will only openly like something if it's Yea Forums approved?
Parts 1 and 2 are consistent and actually well written.
Part 1 is shit after the mansion burns down and part 2 has the worst cast/main villain and an unexciting story.
I love it.
Jojos never was or never will be what you percive to be "good writing" because you have 0 understanding of thematics and visual metaphors being used instead of text dumps. Plot as you percive it is not a focus of the author, only expressing ideas through characters and their abilities. There is a reason almost every character in Jojo is memorable, the internal consistency and care that goes into them in miles beyond most mangaka.
> Parts 1-6
Besides from obvious art/battles being good.. it's bizzare. Ridicolous. Character designs, poses, stands, story. It's all so fucking weird that you either drop it or drop the ironic facade and enjoy it. You are overloaded with bizzare shit that you cannot feel neutral over it. It's one of the biggest you love it or hate it in anime - when anime itself is love it or hate it itself.
You ever watched some shit that you appreciated for good art/humor/ideas/story but it never evoked any particular emotion in you? It's hard to do that with Jojo.
> Parts 7-8
These are just really good mangas. Together with aforomentioned, bizzare shit - they have top notch story and dialogues.
The reason there are holes and asspulls is Araki doing things to create as fun and interesting an arc as possible rather than trying to hold to an overarching if mediocre thread.
I like it unironically, the battles are fun, the art is pretty good and araki is a great character writer
It's one of very few manga that makes full use of the medium, there are a lot of failed artists and writers who turn to manga, they are often good enough writers or artists to scrape. Araki was made for drawing manga, he doesn't follow traditional tropes from other manga but instead takes inspiration from every medium from roman statues to high fasion to classic rock and uses them to create something entirely unique. Can you think of any artist with as many iconic panels, characters and phrases? Or any other artist with an artstyle that is extremely unique while still being detailed and realistic but still expressive? There is a reason it was displayed in the Louvre, because it carries actual artistic merit. There are a bunch of brainlets who just like it for the lulsorandom aspect but those people are as dumb as the people thinking it's trying to be Death Note or HxH.

No.
