Which fight among all in the Fate franchise is the epic one?
For me its Karna vs Siegfried

Cheating piece of shit.
I'd say Tiamat in Babylonia or Ivan in Anastasia ?
Also GodArjuna vs Super Karna is pretty cool too
Shirou vs Kirei (HF)
No one will ever take FGO seriously no matter how hard you shill it, gachafag.
Saber Alter Vs Berserker
Of course This Scene
>Shirou vs Kirei (HF)
This, but ufofags won't understand.
>but ufofags won't understand
wait why ?
btw can't wait to see that scene in HF3 next year
Internal monologue is what makes it great just like with Archer vs Shirou fight. Ufotable might pull it off, but it's one of those things that don't translate well into anime.
GodJuna vs Super Karna was probably a top tier fight as far as flashiness goes but for emotional weight I’d say Chaldea’s final fight against Xiang Yu in SIN.
KARNAAAAAA
>emotional weight I’d say Chaldea’s final fight against Xiang Yu in SIN.
Agree. Xiang Yu's death is my most favorite scene in LB3 while Spartacus's sacrifice ranked #2 for me.
Gacha is the future of franchise now, granpa.
Soichirou vs Saber in UBW was great.
I kinda enjoy the masters fight more than servants for some reason.
Kirei vs Kiritsugu was great too.
Not the same guy, but I just play the ps4 games for it.
Gacha never really seemed too appealing to me.
if I am correct Arjuna and Karna are brothers in Mahabharata, right?
For me, it's Lancelot vs Gilgamesh in FZ
Also this
Yes
Half brothers technically, Karna was granted to his mom by the Sun God so a bit iffy on the whole father situation but Arjuna had a legit father.
hoping they don't fuck up, we will see the tiamat fight on Christmas
>while Spartacus's sacrifice ranked #2 for me.
Being this much of a oppressor.
This but unironically. Anyone who thinks otherwise is delusional.
Karna VS Arjuna easily
There's a plethora of fierce warriors in Curry mythology and they chose Arjuna as the lostbelt king. What the fuck were they thinking?
Laziness, By using Arjuna they already had Karna to use too instead of having to design two new characters from the ground up, this way they could just take their basic design and ramp up adding shit to it
KARNAAAAAAAAA
Easily the Dies Irae one
Caster vs Saber, Rider, Lancer and Gil vs Berserker.
Something about how large scale this fight is, and how all the servants are involved, makes it really enjoyable.
Goetia vs. Solomon
Gilgamesh vs Iskander, it is the most I have liked both characters, granted there is not much to the technicalities but it was still epic and very well executed
>inb4 Zero baby
But they did a pretty good job with LB3. Why did they drop the ball when it came to LB4?
Astolfo vs Naked Apron
How was Kojiro vs Musashi?
Also Arjuna Being the villain makes zero sense. He's like the protagonist of Mahabharata. How could they fuck up so bad?
>Nipwank
What did you expect? They would willingly fuck with other myths but never their own.
Battle Royale with only Saberfaces when?
But that's Jeanne face
We know who'd win already.
God LE was shit. Plot was a mess, characters were bland with no development and 80% of them were boring exposition machines, AND not a single good or satisfying fight in it.
This is Wilhelm Tell, say something nice about him.
Why does he have a futuristic gun instead of a crossbow and why is he wearing military gear?
Saber vs Gilgamesh and Shirou vs Kirei at the end of fate
Welcome to Nasuverse
Shirou vs Archer. It has a lot more weight to it than Shirou vs Kirei although a slugfest between determined dying men is fucking rad as hell.
It's actually a techno crossbow.
Because the Arjuna in Fate is mentally unstable, at first he comes out as your typical chuuni, but once you reach into his final asencion you can tell something is not ok with the guy
NO GODS WILL FAVOR YOU NOW!
ARJUNAAA!
It's actually a crossbow that's conceptualized his aptitude for crossbows in the form of looking like crossbow that can take what ever form he wants it to be.
I think, I'm not too good at reading moonrunes yet.
Based, the last third of the Fate route is actually some of the best parts of the VN and I really don't understand why people think its vastly inferior to UBW
Why is Arjuna a berserker?
Because the Fate route is too full of infodumps to set the scene and characters. The other routes flow better because they build from it.
It's plays techno music?
Has an evil mental state or something.
Same. Nothing will top this for me. I pray Ufotable animates an OVA of it
Based. Fuck gachashit
Arjuna
> -------Why, is it.
> My power is, beyond comparison, to yours. Even if, you gained the power, of Shiva and Vishinu.
> I have, everything. In addition to those two, Agni, Indra, Brahma, Soma.... All, all of them!
Karna
> You are a dense man. To looking for the reason for that still.
> Then, let me teach you. Well, though I only came to realize that while we fight.
> You do not have the most important thing. There is one thing here that I have but you do not.
Arjuna
> What...... No...... It cannot, be.... I've got, all the divines....
Karna
> It, is none other than that.
> (Karna is pointing at us?)
Arjuna
> ......!
Karna
> The companion. In other words---- God is, a god only when it is with the people.
> God cannot exist alone by itself.
> You, who depended on the power from the outer world and severed all the 'people' of this world, may have ascended as a god of the beginning and the end, close to being almighty.
> You may be a complete being by yourself, but such a god is not truly the god.
> You yourself---- would know that already, while not realizing it.
FGO's dicksucking towards the MC is honestly irritating.
Arjuna was the son of Indra. Kunti used her god-pregnancy blessing and had most of her sons from gods.
For me, it's the McChicken.
The point of the Mahab is that everyone makes questionable moral decisions for various reasons to win the war. Arjuna was among them, but when he did it it was because he was told to do it by Krishna, which somewhat justified his actions. He still had to serve time in Hindu hell for his actions. No one came out of the war clean, so who the protagonist was doesn't really matter. Besides, the point of the Lostbelt is that it differs from what happened in history due to a key difference. In this one, Arjuna maintain his status as a moral paragon and decided to try to solve the war himself.
That's not really MC dicksucking. It's a callback to both how Karna dedicated his life to his friend and fought his hardest when fighting for him and how Arjuna held no fear when he was alongside his friend and god, Krishna. Karna is basically pointing out that Arjuna has forsaken companionship both in terms of friendship and his relationship with the gods.
They do shit like this since Extra.
And Stay Night has dick sucking for Shirou. Your point?
In other words, Ajurna is an idiot and pretty much nerfed himself since divine spirits are depended on people's belief on them.
it is a crossbow though
He's not a self-insert character whose dick everyone sucks. Shirou gets shit on constantly throughout the story.
it seems like a trend in FGO that villain powerups come with a cost unforseen.
Goetia is a conflicting mess
Moriaty nerfed himself with conflict of interest
now Arjuna becoming solitary.
>He's not a self-insert character whose dick everyone sucks.
All VN protagonists are self-inserts.
>Shirou gets shit on constantly throughout the story.
So does FGO’s MC. Most of the villains call you out for being an useless and incompetent mage.
>All VN protagonists are self-inserts.
False. Shirou is his own character with his own well-defined personality and circumstances that make him too distinct for the average otaku shitter to self-insert into.
>villains call you out for being an useless and incompetent mage
And then you defeat them and prove them wrong. The point of FGO is that you overcome seemingly insurmountable odds with very little through the power of being a useless shit and having something "different" about you. Human ingenuity or some bullshit as well. Shirou gets shit on and the people who shit on him are genuinely correct considering there are plenty of endings where his stupidity get him killed. Even his allies call him stupid and they're right about it. He gets proven wrong several times and only succeeds on his own a couple times.
More like a bunch of cliche. Moriarty's story looks like an episode from cartoon show.
Redpill me on Shiro vs Kirei and why everyone likes it so much
You will eat your words when MC turns out to be the beast of Alaya.
> Shirou
> self-insert
Why would you instantly out yourself as secondary?
It's just two dudes punching each other back and forth uselessly because they're both about to drop dead any second. They have a philosophical debate about their ideals while beating the shit out of each other. Shirou ends up playing the role of his adoptive father in fighting Kirei one-on-one to determine the fate of the grail, but end up realizing just how different Shirou is from Kerry and how similar he is to Kirei. It's the emotional weight of the fight that makes it great. Seeing Shirou realize that he actually kind of likes Kirei in a weird way really puts both of their mentalities into perspective. The mostly one-sided beatdown Kirei dishes out for most of the fight is just icing on the cake.
Something was awfully wrong about Karna and Arjuna's rivalry in FGO. But now that you mention it, Krishna was the missing key. Why didn't they add him? Their rivalry is incomplete without him
Arjuna and Karna only exist for incest nowadays. They are written for incest fans
Can anyone tell me a summary of what happened on LB 4?
Lostbelts are things going wrong, dude. History going totally out of whack. Good people turning evil, evil people turning good, all can be seen in a lostbelt. That's why it's lost.
I'm totally okay with things going haywire. What I'm against is retconning important characters and making it half-assed. Krishna was the mediator of the Karna/Arjuna rivalry and somehow he's totally absent in this LB
By what method was Arjuna able to avoid the whole Bhagavad Gita dilemma? Was Karna never born in LB4?
Seems like Karna existed as normal.
Not him but I self-inserted into Shirou.
Go to sleep, Angra.
Not that user but
>And then you defeat them
Yes, but by other servants too. Kadoc, who already knows Fujimaru is a shittier magus than him, still gets surprised at how shit the MC is in LB1.
>and prove them wrong.
Mashu did it, not the MC. She gave Kadoc a speech during their first meeting in LB1, not really strange considering 1/ Chaldea got destroyed by Anastasia + the Oprichnik (all by Kadoc) and the fact that she will never be able to come back to the original Chaldea is too much for her, and Da Vinci's death too (Stop--- stop the vehicle, please! Turn back to Chaldea! Please turn back! / Because--- for it to be taken--- there’s no way it could have been taken from us / No matter what happens, all of our memories together still remain in Chaldea! / And then… and then…! There, the Doctor’s room, it’s still…!) and 2/ Kadoc keeps saying the Crypters (or even just one of them) would have done better than what Fujumaru/Chaldea did and Mashu gets upset by it since Kadoc's denying everything Chaldea did to stop the Incineration, which includes Roman's sacrifice. Remember Mashu's reaction after knowing the goal of Schez ? That is pretty much the same as what she feels towards Kadoc in LB1. She still has a good relationship with Ophelia and Pepe though btw.
Anyway don't expect much from Fujimaru since he is just a self-insert protagonist. The overall themes of FGO story are Mashu's growth and Roman's way of life, just like how Nasu used Mashu, Roman and Goetia to carry the message of the 1st arc. Mashu is even called the second protagonist after all.
And I self-inserted into Berserker.
Remind me, why there are so many faggots assblasted that Gudao NTR'd Kadoc after that cuntboy allah akbar'd Chaldea?
Read the VN.
And I self-inserted into Illya.
pic related. also a bit i found on BL about the God Arjuna stuff
>The reason why Alterjuna is born is pretty simple. Arjuna feels absurd that the pointless but bloody war starts and continues on for insignificant reasons, causing death of famed warriors and soldiers, eventually spreading to the civilians on both sides. He understand this is born from the evils of the incompleteness of men, and finds it ridiculous that all know about this but none tried to remedy the situation. Thus, he decided that he, the greatest sinner has the responsibility to step up and deal with this situation, but he slowly lost his humanity as he take in more Gods and eventually become what he is, dooming the world. Limbo only give advice at the right time to speed up the process of reincarnation where the world cannot bear.
>the split from Panhistory happened after the Kurukshetra War. Arjuna's side won, but he realized the bloodshed will never stop as the cycle of revenge continues on, and finally decides to do something about it.
It wouldn't be so good without Achilles mate, his fights take priority on every list, you fool, don't mistake flashiness with epicness
>Gudao NTR'd Kadoc
99% because Anastasia is summonable, but this Anastasia is actually a different person from Kadoc's Anastasia (Panhistory and Lostbelt IIRC). Though it doesn't happen in the story anyway and Kadoc is actually the Crypter that Guda wants to be his friend/know about him the most (same situation and the age difference is not much or they're in the same age). The MC calls him "Kadoc-kun", and it seems like after LB1 Kadoc doesn't hate Guda that much anymore (he's a bit tsundere about Guda in LB3 intro).
>implying Archer sniping Gilgamesh while he was preoccupied with Shiro isn't cheating
>implying Shiro providing mana for Saber, while Gilgamesh has to use his own isn't cheating
Stay mad faggot.
>the split from Panhistory happened after the Kurukshetra War
When does that happen? Before the Age of Gods or after it?
Obviously during it.
How could it have happened before it? The age of gods started before mankind.
How strong is Super Saiyan Karna? Is he around Gilgamesh level?
