Plot convenience. Araki seemed to give up on Hot Pants at some point, her character arc just stopped once she tag teamed with Diego against Valentine and she dies with zero fanfare. The Vatican plotline stops with her too. It was revealed like it was gonna be a huge thing and more Vatican agents were going to be trying to recover the Corpse, but it’s never mentioned again.

Did you even read SBR? It was almost at the end when Valentine took out of his asshole a Diego from the universe with no corpse and instead the prize of the race was a huge diamond or some shit.

Jojolion worth picking up again? Way back in 2014 I tried reading it but only got 30 or so before getting bored of it. I found it kind of difficult to get into compared to earlier parts.

It's the most interesting part by far. Not everything has to be epic fights that destroy the planet, user.

It’s a slow burn since it’s a mystery story instead of an action one but it’s pretty good. I myself didn’t like it at first either, but then when I tried it again I ended up really liking it, so hopefully it works out like that for you too.

Will the bite marks ever be explained?

If he lied about his age when conscripting, he could have fought in World War 2. All reports of the Rokakaka stopped after Japan occupied Papua New Guinea during the war. Coincidence? Potentially, but Araki started planning JoJolion in 2007 so without a doubt he’s given thought to how Joseph lived in this continuity and what he did, whether it’s plot important or not.

Yasuho got hers in the hospital while visiting Holly, and Holly said something ominous about how Yasuho is fated to guide her son when she visited. Joshu’s bite marks also appeared while he was in the hospital. So I assume once Holly is actually cured or once we learn more about what Satoru was up to in the hospital we’ll find out about the bite marks.

Some user figured out the JoJolion timeline by using the dates Damo used in his arc and how many days have passed in-universe. IIRC Yasuho found Josuke in late August and it’s currently early October. Also the characters are all still the same age as they were at the start, so it can’t possibly have been more than a year anyway.

Do you think Araki will ever reveal the origin of Stands? Maybe they're demons or some shit. Or maybe stand users are autistic and everythint is in their heads. Keep in mind all jojo villainsbare mentally ill so it could be the case.

He teased it in Part 5 a little with the meteorite and Requiem summoning extradimensional demons that look like Stands. In Part 7 we learn that the Devil’s Palms were meteorites too, and JoJolion has literal organisms made of stone that have an abnormally high rate of Stand users. I reckon Rock Humans might be descended from the virus on the meteorite, or descended from the first organisms exposed to the virus.

I started reading Jojolion recently.

It’s pretty good stuff. Apparently he started planning it back in 2007 as well, so he’s put far more thought into it than any other Part. Hopefully everything is wrapped up well, but given how he’s going it will be. Just gonna take a while.

Maybe both? Daiya wants to bone Josuke but otherwise she isn’t on his side, if push comes to shove then she’ll side with her family in a heartbeat, even though she really wants to fuck. Depending on what Jobin or Kaato (she’s the only one who seems interested in Kaato, the rest are suspicious) have told her, she could have removed everyone’s memory of Kyo with California King Bed while Tsurugi renders photos of her unrecognisable with Paper Moon King. Kyo was investigating Norisuke because she thought he killed Kira (at least that’s what she told Josuke) and was snooping around Norisuke’s study. The last time we saw Norisuke’s study before he died was the chapter just before the fight with Kyo and Born This Way started.

My bet is that she’s made a move that outed her as an enemy of the family and Jobin wants to erase her from their minds or she herself has asked a favour of Daiya and/or Tsurugi to help her go incognito with the family for whatever reason.

Daiya joining Kaato makes zero fucking sense though, she doesn't even know her and she loves her dad way too much to betray him for no reason in favor of her abscent mother that just got out of jail who is only liked by her dangerously autistic brother.
The only thing Kaato got on Daiya is the fear of the fact that she'll have to die for her children one day, but killing Norisuke fits nowhere there.

None of them know Norisuke is dead yet though, which is why Daiya doing something for Kaato to get closer with her is something I thought of. 100% she wouldn’t help them if she knew Norisuke was going to die.
