Recently read #1 to current for One Piece
and am currently around #475 for Naruto.

Naruto starts off great, but takes a bit of a dive when the Akatsuki start taking centre stage and the whole thing becomes MUH VENGENANCE VS MUH SHINOBI WAY. Interested to see how it ends.

One Piece is fairly decent throughout, but has some phenomenal highs for some of the early arcs and characters. WCI was meh and Wano hasn't done much for me so far.

Haven't started on HxH so can't comment.

The JRPG party thing is a bit of a throwback to the Band of the Falcon; the reason being that instead of acting like he did, Guts acts cold because all he can think about is the Eclipse.

Didn't you notice how much asspulls One Piece use eventhough it has a soft power system?

Gave up around the dofflamingo arc when noticed how much of it has asspulls and "no you" moments.

Yeah, which is why I haven't liked some of the later arcs as much. Although you've gotta admit, this is Shonen manga, there's always going to be various asspulls. As long as it stays out of Dragon Ball Super levels, I'll be okay with it.

I liked how they did it in some of the early arcs like Skypiea, where Luffy was immune to Enel purely from the fact that he's a rubber man.

Sanji's sister who have the ability to "suck poison" appears out of nowhere in the fucking ocean and conveniently saves luffy who was dying eating the most poisonous fish(although it's said he is poison resistant).
That's one of a thousand,read the latest chapt. with this in mind,Oda doesn't even try to justify his shit system.

Like I said, it's more and more apparent in the latest arcs. But that doesn't invalidate some of the good stuff that came before.

I would say naruto > hxh. In naruto you usually have a main villain and the plot moves towards defeating him.
In hxh the closest thing to that so far is PT for Kurapika which is not that important.
