I would like more downtime in Jojolion but it wouldn't work with what's happening in the story right now and would feel like wasted chapters in a monthly schedule even if they're good. And Araki isn't going to go back to being weekly.

Not really. There were some sol things going on early on but it's mostly been stopped. And the tone is more similar to SBR than any of the earlier parts. It gives off a much stranger tone though than SBR imo.

Not really, the setting is the same but in terms of plot structure and tone it’s pretty different. It feels pretty disjointed at first, but as more of the mystery unfolds it slowly comes together into a more coherent plot.

So the only arguments you faggots have against the original universe returning is :

Araki gave up on the original Universe since 2003, 16 fucking years ago because making an ongoing story and keeping track of that much baggage held him down as a writer.
It's stupid to think about part 9 when 8 is nowhere near finished 10 years into release. Araki is getting old and stated several times he wants to retire early, at best he'll finish the Thus Spoke Rohan spin off but that's about it. If we force this overworked old man to write something he stopped giving a shit over a decade ago for fanservice (which he never liked doing anyway) it's gonna be a complete mess of a story just like Eyes Of Heaven.
Part 9 won't happen and even if it does it won't be after part 6

It won't. Araki stated in one of the Jojonium author's notes that he doesn't like doing fan service cross over type things, and leaves that for video games. I don't see any reason for him to go back to the original universe as he's told all the stories he wants to tell in that world and he decided to make a new one because that better suits him as a writer.

It is coherent. 7 and 8 are numbered that way since they are the 7th and 8th releases of the story. Araki just made up some bullshit so he could tell a story using stands which wasn't bogged down by continuity of his previously established parts. Continuity can enrich a long running story, but now Araki is seeing the benefits of making the parts more serialized and stand alone from each other which isn't automatically worse

Part 5's anime wasn't announced/made until like 2 years after part 4's ended. Don't expect anything for a while. It'll be made though unless DP goes out of business. Part 6 is one of my favorite parts but a lot of people don't like it still.

Jojos is written in a way that allows for a fuckton of callbacks and characters from previous part showing up in latter parts yet it very rarely happens because of how araki writes things, that is always looking forward to what feels cool for him at the moment and not for what makes more sense. With that said, theres nothing to go back in the old universe after the ending of part 6, which is basically what forced the series to continue in a different timeline in the first place, also why go bacl now after over 15 years developing this one?

It ended fine imo, it’s just very sudden with Part 6’s ending so it takes time to sink in what’s actually just occurred.

Not as comfy as part 4, far more serious and dark.
Where part 4 had moments of dark interspersed with long stretches of happy/chill. Part 8 is the opposite in some ways.

The original universe is what made Jojo popular and iconic in the first place and Araki is a retard for not only erasing it, but continuing making a jojo that is nothing but a shell of it's former self.
