No tank dorifto, but Oorai realized that the distrust and hatred between the escalator students and the other group is still there, so they painted Duck Team's Char's turret in the same colour as a Maginot's Somua then send it behind enemy line to shoot at escalator students' heavy tanks. Most of the Maginot team died to friendly fire, meanwhile, Marie just sits there with her crew, consuming sweets.

A fun continuation to episode 1.
Spoilers to what happens in episode 2.
All the minor schools get knocked out during round 1 of the tournament but you get to see them all briefly in action which is nice. Koala school has an actual koala as their tank commander. Ooarai goes up against Chihatan in round 2 and the Chihatan commander realizes the only way to make her team use tactics is to call everything a different form of charge, which is good shit. Shark gets knocked out quickly and the tank disguises come back for a repeat.

>These goes on until Marie's personal heavy tank guard request Marie's permission to go engage the "enemy", when Marie said yes the guard rushes forward yelling that the enemy is Andou
>Marie manage to stop the fighting, but now BC only have 3 heavy tank, 2 light, and Marie's flag tank left
>They get boxed in the bocage and try to escape but loses tank one by one, though they did go out singing the Onion Song
>Match end, Andou and the Esclator team lead apologize to their senior in university, that brown hair girl on Arisu's team, while Marie set up a sweet feast for Oorai's team like what Anzio did

The family is very poor and their shop is also kinda rundown. Everyone realize that Momo can't get into a private university even if she wanted to, and her only choice is public university.

>2nd match is Chihatan VS Koala who have an actual Koala as their team captain, the damn thing can apparently give out command too. Koala team expected an easy victory since they're up against Chihatan, but the battle get cut out and we learn from Anzu that Koala lost.
>3rd match is Kuromori led by Erika against Maginot. Maginot seems to rely on stationary defenses, but Kuromori's tanks just blew through all the concrete and fortification.
>4th match is Sanders against Blue Division (their crew seems to only consist of busty brown girl with open top). The entire team got wiped and the flag tank got sniped while it was trying to run away.
>5th match is the Finn against someone, the Finn manage to win on their lonesome by charging at the enemy's flag tank.
>6th match is Saint Gloriana against someone on a bridge.
>7th match is Pravda against the Viking. Pravda wiped them all out. We don't even get to see any of the Viking's crew.
>8th match is the Italian against someone. They won by swarming the enemy flag tank with tiny machine gun tanks, then Duce rushes in and one shot it.
I didn't catch the tournament graph so I don't remember who is fighting who in 2nd round.

>Oorai gave chase, but when Chihatan turned to fight them, Oorai just keep on driving so Chihatan now chase them
>One of the Ka-mi driver check the map and realize that there's a ditch right in front of them but it was too late, now the entire Chihatan team just fell straight into
>Surrounded and shot on all side by Oorai's tanks, Nishi order the first retreat in Chihatan history and say that it's for victory

I'm gonna disagree. GuP has a massive number of characters but most have the depth of a puddle. I was opposed to the addition of Shark Team because it seemed to just add another group of characters to avoid having to develop any of the established ones. I hope that by focusing on the established schools we can get a bit more depth from the characters or at least some development as the spoilers suggest happened for CHT. In any case, this is the 'finale' of this crop of Commanders so it would be good to get a bit more from them before they graduate.

We're open for a chihatan and jatkosota fight, the latter of which we don't really know about beyond Mika and her crew. If they keep the montage system up as well, we will get better scenes for all the non ooarai fights as the surviving schools get eliminated. That's a good point, but the BC Girls have a more prominet role in this first two ovas, maybe with Eclair as she appears in an ova for a couple of scenes, they keep her design as it could be more of a hassle to redesign a character that would appear for a brief moment, that's my guess
