Honestly the Oscar focused episodes were best, Marie episodes were mostly Marie vs. conniving woman of the week. In the end though Marie's 'fug the peasants lol' attitude is at least more respectable than Louie's half measures.

I don't think the series has a single bad character.

I'd argue that Orleans has the depth of a puddle, but he's a one dimensional villain in a fun kind of way.

The saddest part about Marie for me is that I had to watch her grow up.

Andre is literally a butthurt cuck, the typical "nice guy" who becomes a rapist once gets reject.

The depressing part is when you realise that this broken woman with grey hair who gets put under the guillotine at the end is the same woman who spent the early half of the series chasing butterflies in a fountain and joking about flea coloured dresses.

It's brutal.

The fanbase hates Fersen because he was loyal to Antoniette but loved the shit out of rapist incel Andre. Logic where?
