I also like the waterpark episode, all the episodes with grandpa, the skiing episode, the episode where she "confesses" to Yuki, and the original finale. I watched the series recently and I liked it a lot but I have a question. What was the point of Meiling? I felt like once she really started fitting in with the cast she was taken out of the story, right before the climax of the whole Clow Card arc too. I thought maybe she'd stand in the way of Shaoran's budding feelings for Sakura but she left right as those were starting.

Not sure, I didnt mind her inclusion and both her and Tomoyo crying with each other having lost the sakura/syaoran-bowls is one the moments I fondly remember.
She is an anime-only character which is probably why they removed her from the finale or any story defining moments

I was annoyed they just threw all his powers and the mystery behind what he did with them out the window.
That episode suggests he has helped spirits pass on in the past but once the story forced him to give up on them they're now probably all screwed and he can't do anything anymore
