In these past chapters, it has occurred to me that witnessing Inosuke without his boar mask, as beautiful as he may be, feels wrong and unsettling.
It may be because he doesn't frequently take it off, but unlike other characters whose face is hidden, Inosuke puts me at unease when he's not wearing his mask. As if that is not how it should be, as if I'm not suppose to see what I'm seeing.
I believe his face is beautiful, he is a very pretty guy, who makes me question my sexual orientation. His eyes are that of a beautiful girl, and so is the structure of his face. Capturing his beauty on paper doesn't come easy, I bet.
His hair are also very comforting, barely reaching shoulder level, they appear soft, like those of a pretty young lady.
It all seems wonderful, as long as its hidden below his boar mask, which appears as if it's purposely there to seal away that beautiful, mysterious gaze of his.
I still recall of a scene in a chapter where Inosuke peeked out of his mask, ever so slightly, to grab something to eat. I couldn't help but freeze myself for a second, and stare at his face, focused on the task of consuming the food that stood before him. That very face, felt as if it was a blessing, which no mere human like myself was allowed to experience.
In recent chapters, there's a lot of mask-less Inosuke, which creates a disturbing sensation which goes down my spine every time I see a panel representing him. Is this right? Should I look away? Should I keep reading as if nothing was happening?
How could I possibly pretend that his face didn't give me a feeling of discomfort. That was simply not possible. Panel after panel, he is there, as precious and graceful as ever, perhaps even more than usual.
To think that one day, in the near future, his face will be animated, makes me feel even more upset. If mere panels in the Manga have this overwhelming effect on me, what of a full-fledged Animation? How could anyone, anyone at all, withstand such a thing?
I thought Zenitsu was funny and enjoyed this episode, I don't know why everyone's complaining. It's pretty obvious he's going to come through with some fighting ability in the next episode and his characterization will probably mellow out over time.

This is only true is said underdog character is ugly or unappealing. If he is attractive girls will be all over him (see: Furuichi from Beelzebub, Takumi from SnS).

Tamayo explicitly stated that she tweaked her body so that she doesn't have to eat people, doesn't mean that she never ate anyone. She did. As for Yushiro, he was transformed by Tamayo in the first place so he's different from other demons created from Muzan's blood.
If you want to see an example for the mental status of someone just turned into a demon (beside Nezuko) look no further than he poor dude turned by Muzan. He is just a mindless beast. The minor demons Tanjirou killed in the Selection were also fairly stupid, while the hand demon was really cunning. Just like how demons get stronger the more people they eat, they also regains their intelligence that way.
In a sense, they all regress mentally because they can hardly remember their human past, like how the hand demon forgot the brother he had. Nezuko is now only a broken version of her human self with limited mental faculties , and that's already a miracle in itself.

If I recall correctly the last time one of his outbursts actually hindered a fight was during the spider arc before he switched into his cool mode and killed the spider guy. He usually fights with his other mode so what are you even talking about? He’s barely even been given more than a handfull of his own fights anyways. He’s still a neurotic brat otherwise, but that’s just his character as he’s the straightman of the group and he’s the only one who thinks rationally 90% of the time.

That just tends to be a prevalent aspect in a lot of anime. But I don’t know, I thought that they balanced it decently in this episode at least. Zenitsu was given his part to shine and have his huge autistic outburst over being rejected, and then him and Tanjirou were back on track.
Then they got to the drum house, and we were given the scene in which we were meant to empathize with the kids and the boy who died, and then Tanjirou nicely declared that he would avenge him and rescue the kids’ sibling.
I feel like you’d have to be nitpicking a little if you thought that the latter part with Zenitsu and the boy and Inosuke’s scene were executed badly or misplaced, I mean this isn’t meant to be some dramatic grimdark soap opera

Tanjirou is actually one of the most well written "nice guy" protagonist I've seen in manga. He is the moralfag who can be a savage when he should be. The fact that he's normally nice and soft-spoken makes the moments he goes berserk have much more impact. When he is genuinely angry, even the brutish boar head and the mohawk edgyfag are scared speechless.

The issue wouldn't even be that he's scared. It's the fact that him being scared is played up as a joke, so if people don't find it funny, then it's just annoying and not sympathetic at all. It's just a bunch of obnoxious jokes. In addition he's not JUST scared, he's also whiny to the point of absurdity. Most of his scenes aren't played up to garner sympathy, they're played up in an attempt to be amusing, which is the wrong way to go about it if you don't have enough faith in your ability to make things funny.
Like when Tanjiro asks Zeni if he's going to go into the drum house with him, it could have been Zeni quivering and shrinking and just quietly stepping off and saying "i can't do this it's just too much for me". I'd understand that

I think the fact the Zenitsu didn't refuse to go into the Drum house with Tanjirou said a lot about his character. He afraid but still not gonna left people in need.
Cowards can still be good characters, but you have to establish them right. There's many ways to establish them, and they're not all good;
-They might put someone in danger/get them killed by their cowardice, and then later could redeem themselves. This will make them likable, and even relatable.
-They might just express doubts, advise plans that are on the safer side (usually to be denied/ignored), things like that. This makes them less likable, because they're just trying to restrain the real heroes.
-They might whine like a bitch for hours. This usually make them hatable.
Actually difference trainer have difference approach. Zenitsu sensei is quite difference from Tanjirou sensei. Not everyone can stay calm in the face of danger, but the only thing that matter is that how he fight, not how he behave act.

I've pretty much accepted Zenitsu isn't the sort of character that'll translate nicely to anime. He didn't exactly become less whiny in the manga, it's just hilariously easy to pay him little attention when you're reading panels of dialogue. In the anime you have to actually deal with everything being paced, animated, and voiced around a guy screaming and having autistic fits.
It's the same deal with Bakugo. His shouting can easily be dismissed in the manga, and you can interpret it all in your head as being bearable. But in the anime you have to actually sit through periods of time dedicated to hearing his voice shout at people. I feel like animeonlies who don't like Zenitsu will not actually warm up to him with that in mind.

The thing I like the most about this manga are the faces of the girls, they way the mangaka draw her faces, her eyes are captivating, I love specially the three loli burtterfly girls.

The most important part of writing is always been making the audience having emotional investment in the characters and i think the author did a very well job in that aspect.
