They had Foxy for "searches" and that's it.

You can use Scrap Recycler I guess to mill an Orcust but overall the deck is going to be hurt a LOT from that hit. Any future Orcust deck will be a shell of it's former self

Not really, going -4 to summon a single high level monster is only good when he has a good negation and or some sort of floating effect, he just summons a fucking vanilla level 7 with mediocre attack with no protection.
Compare it with an old card like Tyrant Dragon for example, inbuilt protection against targeting traps and he let's you do a second attack if there's another monster on your opponents field

The VRAINs packs have introduced so many decks into the game that you could easily make an entire series with them with hero characters playing cards from the World Legacy and villians use cards like HAKAI and all the deck build packs to side characters and 1 off filler duelists. It might make the series look more like a card game commercial but I'd rather have that than 14 (Appliancers and @Ignister aren't on this list but it'll probably be updated by the end of the series anyways) archetypes that won't be seen until 2021 at the earliest.

There are reasons for this. Shuiesha and NAS aren't interested in making a series based around monsters instead of humans, probably because they're better at making merch and stories for them. Konami wouldn't want to resell old cards that are way past their time and aren't particularly connected to any anime character or significant. The reason why it isn't a Rokket is because that's not what Rokkets are. The Rokkets are the bullets for the Borrels to fire. Unless Striker Dragon had a Link-targeted destruction effect then it isn't one of the bullets. Besides, there is only a handful of cards that would work with a Rokket Link since a lot of it special summons in defense mode.
Tracer, Absorouter, Striker and to an extent Silverrokket are excellent pieces of support for the deck.
Tracer is pretty much Quick Launch on legs that can be summoned through Quick Launch. It can target cards you are already activating for a free Rokket from deck.
Absorouter turns Dragon Shrine and Foolish into a RoTA for the deck as well as being a free summon in the deck that provides a search is you link it away.
Striker is a LINK-1 that searches Boot Sector Launch and also procs your Rokkets which is what the deck was gagging for.
Finally, Silverrokket provides a nice bit of disruption for opponents running engines. Use Tracer to summon Silverrokket then proc it in the End Phase to get rid of a Sunlight Wolf then during your opponents turn, do the same thing again to fully shut down a Salamangreat's recovery to the bare minimum.
As much flak as the community likes to give that structure deck, it gave the deck some nice toys to play with.
