WE ARE GONNA DEFEAT THIS ANTI-HUMAN SCUM!!
-Alex Jones

Parasyte pulls this angle towards the end

>humans are the real monsters!
Is there a single story that has ever pulled off this theme well? It's always idiotic.

hunter x hunter

Monsters aren't real, kids. Stop being butthurt when series don't play to a dichotomy that makes you feel good about yourself.

Imagine not being a human supremacist.

Imagine

>"you know, monsters are fine, humans were the real monsters all along!"
It's called cheap 2deep4u

>humans are weak
this one is true, we are weak for an animal of our size, we are slow, we don't have claws or impressive bite and the lack of a thick skin makes us susceptible to wounds, what made us stand out is the absurd stamina we have, the intelligence and the ability to throw projectiles effectively which is a trait almost exclusive to us
>humans are the real monsters
it's cheap 3deep5u pseudo-philosophical bullshit that edgelords love to eat
>humans are inferior
this one depends on the setting and execution, fantastical racism is a thing and it wouldn't be farfetched that a 1500 years old elf would consider humans inferior because of the relative short life span, or giants consider them just above insects because the size difference, or just aliens with superior technology that would consider human culture completely barbaric

that one manga where the turtle gets nuked

apes can throw shit too

>apes=humans
>mind blown

but can they throw spears?

apes can't throw a baseball at 70 mph, their max speed is around 20 mph, human 12 years old can, this is without considering the accuracy, apes can't consistently hit a target at 20 feet, most people are capable of killing another human at 100 feet with just a rock

>most people are capable of killing another human at 100 feet with just a rock
Mate where the fuck do you live where that's a normal ability?

Because niggers want to get accepted by society

well, a normal male adult, to be more specific, if you can throw a baseball from home to first base with enough accuracy you can hit a person at 100 feet with a rock, hit them in the head and that dude is probably dead

The force isn't as much of an issue, it's more the accuracy while retaining alot of the power behind a throw.
It's not exactly an average thing you can do, you need to have learned it to do it.

You do have the technicality though, most people CAN do it, they just don't know how.

>his neighborhood doesn't hold weekly heretic stonings

>implying humans can't be likened to monsters

I'm a human supremacist, but lets not pretend our shit doesn't stink

Also the best take on this is Shiki in my opinion

The main problem is the inevitability that whatever "non-human" race the story presents to compare the "bad" humans to is either pretty much the same as humans or if the non-human is properly alien it ends up so far away from humans that the audience can't relate to them, and they essentially become akin to animals or forces of nature.

It makes the whole point fall flat because you can't avoid telling the story of "humans suck" from a human point of view, using moral judgment that humans made themselves.

It depends on your view point.

Humans are arguably the most compassionate species on the planet, but I can't think of a living creature on earth that can be as petty and destructive as us.
We have the highest highs and the lowest lows out of all the animals in the animal kingdom when it comes to this kinda stuff.

I'd argue that our high highs and low lows are more a result of our intelligence and technological advancement than any particular moral traits, I'd expect super intelligent Lions or whatever animal elevated to our level of intelligence and social prowess to be at the same level of chill and assholish as we can be.

Largely I think the circumstances that lead us to compassion or destructive tendencies would influence any other creature on our planet that happened to evolve to the same level to be very similar. Lions might need guns they can shoot with their mouths though

poony hooman

quite a sight for such a zeta grey

>The main problem is the inevitability that whatever "non-human" race the story presents to compare the "bad" humans
I've noticed that a lot of these story have the non-humans act like murderous shit heads for most of the story then get mad when humans fight back

Well, Evangelion is about as misanthropic as it gets, desu.

How retarded do you need to be to take this statement at face value when the character in question falls in love with a human and kills themselves for her.

>CA arc still confounds the brainlets
Humans proved superior to ants in every significant way, in niceness, meanness, whatever. The ants got dunked and all the babies cry because humans aren't called innocent angels in the midst of a war for survival/domination.

reptilians duude

>what made us stand out is the absurd stamina we have, the intelligence and the ability to throw projectiles effectively which is a trait almost exclusive to us
Also our ability to adapt to life in a variety of environments. And the diversity of our collective genes which enables us to live in and adapt to said environments.
>it wouldn't be farfetched that a 1500 years old elf would consider humans inferior because of the relative short life span
Elf advantages over humans are usually balanced out in-setting by having humans vastly outnumber elves to the point that even superior elven magic and shit wouldn't make a difference if the two species came into conflict.

didn't this character die and become dust tho

This. Imagine being a some kind of demigod, yet getting cucked to death.

The only kind of fictional race who has moral superiority over humans would have to be perfect creatures themselves capable of living in a utopia without committing a single mistake that would ruin perfection. But then they're basically angels and that's boring as hell because there's no conflict in a utopia

I remember how I Rosario x Vampire pissed me off for that very reason.

nausicaa, but no one here has ever heard of it

Catgirls and other demihumans are simply superior

>The only kind of fictional race who has moral superiority over humans would have to be perfect creatures themselves capable of living in a utopia without committing a single mistake that would ruin perfection.

No? They only need to be slightly better than us.
We (the west) consider ourselves morally superior over muslims stoning their women, tribes mutilating the genitals of their newborn, and chinese killing the individuality and freedom of their people, but it's not like we live in some paradise ourselves.

humanity's only purpose is to feed these superior divine creatures known as pigeons

You must have a very high opinion of all humans if the only thing better than us is sheer perfection.

>What are some anti-human propaganda anime?
Seraph of the end/Owari no seraph
Vampires are keeping humans as livestock, demons hate humans and angels want to punish humans for breaking taboo.

>(((humans))) are weak
>(((humans))) are the real monsters
>(((humans))) are inferior
Fixed

Go back to r/hfy

>we're the real humans

For better or worse, humans are undoubtedly the best.

>humans are the real monsters
Nature is trying to kill us, we fight back. There is nothing fundamentally wrong with it.

Pic unrelated because that wasn't the point of the arc, quite the opposite

Not an undying corpse strapped to a golden throne to serve as a psychic beacon, so #not_my_Emperor.
