I watched it pretty much solely on the basis of the character designs and it completely disappointed
The story and worldbuilding was all over the place and forgettable.
They never even began to explain who or what Kate was and all of her minions had backstories that were pretty much entirely unrelated to her or anything else in the plot.
There weren't any consistent rules or meaningful stakes. Wacky stuff just happened.
It felt like there was no overarching plan, like the pretentious writer just handed the show off to his even more pretentious friend a few episodes in, and then he handed it to someone else, etc.
Also why was MC so fucking gay. Maybe if Kate was the MC we would actually learn about her and the world instead of seeing it all through the eyes of some clueless beta faggot who does nothing the whole anime.

Everytime I see this artist the balding lolis overlap. It's torturous considering how good his works are if you ignore that.
