Personally, I say that neither Sakura nor Hinata have any personality beyond obsessing over their man. Why did you think Kumo was cunning when they fumbled the Hinata abduction during part one? Konoha even outwits them, they knew Kumo only wanted the byakugan but they gave them a body that seals the byakugan when it dies knowing Kumo couldn't do shit about it.
