What went wrong?
What went wrong?
what's wrong with it?
It was never good in the first place retard.
Has the viewer ever not been complete shit?
>Fetches images in WebP via AJAX without refetching on errors
Why did they think this was a good idea?
...
>WebP
gross
the only people whom hate webP,and webM are apple fags.
for me it was unstable, the vertical mode didn't load all images immediately and the zoom from the navigator didn't work on the images. In the app, the ad bar took almost 1/3 of the screen.
I don't care that it's WebP, I'm just mad that it's implemented so shittily.
>Picture element with a media query? Fuck that, everything's a data URL that gets shat on a canvas. What is caching lol
Wow, lossy formats are lossy, who knew.
google shill coping
Tachyomi exists
>Nightshift, want to read some manga at work
>Open the mangarock app
>Everything i interesting i open is region locked because of licenses or something
But atleast the website version works somehow. With less hassle i can get what i want from some other site or nyaa.
Works perfectly for me on mobile, which is pretty much the only way I ever read manga.
There's a "definitive" version which has everything on mobile. Doesn't cost anything, same amount of advertising, honestly I'm not sure what the downside of "definitive" is. Maybe they just didn't want to plaster the version that completely disregards all licence laws on the app store.
I can play webm fine on all my appleshit.
if you're not a applefag just install tachiyomi, it has every feature mangarock has and quite a few more
Works on my machine :^)
The fuck is with all these Chinese manga where fucking 50% of it is "cultivation" where they just meditate and everyone dopes up on pills and elixirs and shit to get ahead. It's all just so stupid and vapid and there's no meaning to ANY character advancement. They just do some shit and have pills and whatever. And almost all of them have some rebirth shit where they use their prior knowledge to become OP kids or have some ghost tutor or some shit.
Am I missing something or is this about right?
Whereas the Korean manhwa tends to have coherent storylines where people have to work hard to advance. The amount of convenience is still annoying but at least it makes sense and isn't just "le meditate and pop pills and use elixir and ooga booga past life". It's not even like isekai where the past life is from another world where it MIGHT be interesting.
>where people have to work hard to advance
Or fuck women while delivering chicken or get electrocuted by a sex machine.
Stop thinking of chinks as human beings. That's a critical error in judgement.
I don't know what kind of manhwa you're reading but please share.
fuck fandom.com for forcing webp on phones
you're on android i bet
>not named "mangapaper" or "mangascissors"
That's what.
>Scissorfags
Imagine being this assblasted.
There rarely is a thematic/story reason for a power up or training montage other than it looks cool and builds hype for when they use the next big move.
But it's like that everywhere, narutos rasengang, ichigos big slash, Bam's thorn.
They all looked cool and changed future fights but where fairly irrelevant to the themes of the story.
And yeah freaking isekai/broken teachers are everywhere even in the good ones like coiling dragon and combat continent. Sometimes it feels like every story is the same but fight break sphere has all the tropes and is still good.
But to each there own I guess.
I've not had any problems desu. Used to be way better though.
>he hasn't read Sweet Guy

>he has to use vlc

Ah, you're right. How silly of me.
to prevent leeching, obviously
The app looks and works great on tablet (I use iPad). I honestly think this is the best thing I've ever used in terms of reading manga on the go.
The only caveat is that you are at the mercy of whichever scanlation they decide to use. So if you have a preferred scan group for 5toubun, well tough luck.
Some of their scanlations are really fucking bad, too
I was just reading something that was unintentionally hilarious because the TL apparently didn't know the difference between 'embarrassing' and 'embarrassed,' a girl kept getting flustered and the MC kept saying stuff like 'are you embarrassing? Don't be embarrassing, you look cute when you're embarrassing'
That Version you download from their website is loaded with Cryptomining malware
What's a good way to get manga updates aside from /r/manga?
What do you mean?
I don't know about mangarock, but Kissmanga is unfixable shit
Works flawlessly on my tachiyomi machine.
Fuck mangadex.
Streaming has never been good or accepted here, now get the fuck out with your trash
Don't expect too much. Yea Forums is full of crossboarders that stream, use Crunchy and MAL
And mods just keep doing nothing, we need more red letters
The only way to purge them would be nuking all shonen generals, which will never happen.
It happened before, it can happen again
>ads
It’s like two dollars fucking buy it
Mods are more into containing shit than removing it for good. This is why generals are becoming a thing everywhere on Yea Forums. Getting rid of them would mean working 4 times more.
>The fuck is with all these Chinese manga where fucking 50% of it is "cultivation"
It's the chink version of "friendship is magic" garbage in shounen only they skipped the friendship and went straight to magic steroids
You mean if you ARE an applefag then install tachiyomi, androidchads can just install the definitive version of the app.
>paying for anime/manga
On a lot of the “popular” mangas right now they’ve been using the Yea Forums translations
>(USER WAS BANNED FOR THIS POST)
Mods need to ban shitty OPs more often.
