>adapt a show that becomes renowned for its animation, comedy, and character interactions >hire team that manages to butcher all three for its second season >pretend that its selling point has always been the story, which is extremely run of the mill
OPM never needed a second season. The first season is so perfect in every possible way, there is no way to continue or add upon this story or theme. I refuse to watch S2
Juan Roberts
>story >extremely run of the mill Literally fucking how
Keeping the fire warm by pouring a bucket of warm piss on it desu
Is Madhouse really gonna take over for season 3? I'm afraid they'll see that people still watched this season, despite it's shit quality, and continue to pump said shit out.
Leo Roberts
S2 adds nothing of value to OPM. If anything its attracting the lowest common denominator of viewers to the fan-base.
Robert Butler
Everyone in the industry knows that OPM content on any quality is gonna sell no matter what. What would be the point of increasing production quality/hiring competent animators?? Goodwill ? HAHAHAHA no
Jaxon Ramirez
It's a show about cool fights and a guy that is so strong his fights are boring. What the fuck did you want?
Daniel Johnson
>implying the first season was so fucking popular that it became normie's favourite choice. I'm glad if the gtfo due to """"subpar"""" animations ( and it's a fine second season anyway )
Christian Martinez
To be honest the longer the manga runs the more I agree with this.
Jordan Lewis
It's not the animators that are the problem, J.C. Staff is a very capable studio. The problem is that the directors, sound designers, and whoever does the color palette are shit at their jobs. When that dude Aoki does a scene, it usually looks pretty good, because he's actually competent and cares about what he's making.
Adrian Torres
>now that the pretty animation is gone, everyone sees the source material as the shallow garbage it is Based JC staff
Isaiah Jenkins
Thats because S2 is 80% filler anyways. There is tons to be added to in the actual canon
Jace Powell
>Madhouse
How many Japanese people must die from overwork to satisfy Yea Forums's desire for a well animated cartoon?
We'll have to send the Enola Gay out on a couple round-trips until we figure it out
Lincoln Ward
This is also where the manga jumped the shark anyway. You say it's JC Staff who's pretending the story is the selling point, but that's just the direction the manga goes in.
Hunter Bennett
"OPM isn't supposed to be funny, it's a serious story that just happened to have jokes"fags need to be fucking gassed
