Is this actually good if you're not interested in fanservice?
Is this actually good if you're not interested in fanservice?
No the story is shit. Don't read unless you want to be disappointed.
>read prison school when it was ongoing
> got to festival arc
>arc drags on for literal fucking months over a stupid joke plot point that should have ended ages ago
> finally gets passed it and it gets WORSE
some of it, the sports festival namek arc becomes completely worthless though
No.
just watch the anime. It's pretty hilarious and I hate fanservice garbage
It's fine for a jolly old wank. After which you can safely drop it. Your dick and hand will thank you for the break.
yes, absolutely
it's a moving tale of friendship and loyalty.
Totally worth the read
>parental warning
Do you really have those ads in the volumes?
It's humor disguised as fanservice. It's all ironic.
Started off so good, then just gets worse and worse.
No. It's only good for a fap.
anime covers the best arc
This manga convinced me to pee on my face.
The first arc is hilarious
it's a comedy manga, the sexual part is just the subject matter
the story is good but the ending is gantz-tier, still read it for the fanservise, is not something you will ever find anywhere else.
Up through the first major arc, yes. After that, no, not really.
Watch the anime and pretend that's the end of it.
Good? Eh
Worth reading? Yes
the anime looks like shit, the fuck are you recommending?
the first couple of volumes are great, then it takes a steep dip in quality and never recovers
also mari should've been the love interest for kiyoshi, she has a way better dynamic with him than chiyo ever did
Best comedy manga.
I think I read about the first 100 chapters, had absolutely no interest in the fanservice and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Definitely a recommended read, it's very good despite falling short towards the finale.
Anime adaptation doesn't do the manga justice.
That's cutting corners, you should have found a gf to pee on you.
first arc is amazing
after that drop it
it gets retarded and the ending is garbage
It is fun but after a while the jokes and situations get samey
I'M STILL FUCKING MAD
I remember laughing quite a lot while reading it, but after a certain point it started to drag for way too long and you could FEEL the authors contempt for his audience. Then the ending happened.
>Greatly improved epilogue
It's been over a year but i'm still seething
The fanservice is much more a tool for comedy than for actual fanservice. I'd actually consider the fanservice low tier if that's what you're actually looking for.
The comedy, at least for the first major arc, is hilarious. If you're a fan of boisterous boyhood camaraderie mixed with comedic takes on prison tropes, it's a great ride. The best parts of the manga to me were always the ones where the boys had a "Ride or die, bad boys for life" moment (glasses dude was really good at this), not the fanservice itself.
The anime is a little funny if you have a childish sense of humour but it has absolutely god like fan service, The artist is an absolute god.
Comedy is unironically the best in the entire medium up until the second volume or so, then it's just meh
The ending is Evangelion level of deep and symbolic. If you don't like it, you're simply a pleb and it's 2deep4u.
Most of the fanservice isn’t even very good. Most of it is on Vice President’s cartoony cow tits or pissing.
bottle rocket sequence was the pinnacle of this one, you all know it
the manga knows exactly what its doing. you cant escape the fanservice nonsense. but that's the whole point. the manga isn't trying to pretend that fanservice is a bad thing and instead flaunts it. great read. content super questionable but still a great read and funny if nothing else.
What did Akira Hiramoto mean by the ending?
What makes the fanservice in Prison School good is characters actually getting intimate together.
I liked it because Meiko made my peepeee big
Going for 2 rabbits, catching none.
But MC didn't even want piss-girl
He was just a fuckin pervert right?
Pretty sure he enjoyed their time together.
Everything before the Calvary battle was good. Everything afterwards got goo again up until the ending. The epilogue was a slap in the face.
It's a great manga unfortunately it has one of the worst endings in human history.
I actually thought it was getting good again once cavalry namek finally ended. I was enjoying it right up until the cop-out ending.
Who are you trying to convince?
Nah
Tokyo Ghoul got a JUST tier ending. Shokugeki just got one as well. Nanatsu is dragging its feet still. What the fuck is going on?
Good til they get out of prison
Personally I think there is a lot of great stuff after the escape as well.
One of the best lesbian scenes I have ever witnessed, somehow it was in a fucking non-H manga.
The story itself is fucking garbage though, but filled with great laughs. The ending would have made me platinum mad if I didn't enjoy the actual closure and really cute, sweet ending the fat guy and domme got. I ended up reading it more for them towards the end because everyone involved in Kiyoshi's love triangle were terrible people.
>Shokugeki just got one as wel
explain
...
I lost a lot of semen to the chapters where president is in those tight prison clothes. That asscrack could feed me until I die
I enjoyed the manga and it does its job. I would drop at the cavalry battle unless you're really invested though
The cavalry battle arc is not nearly as bad as some make it out to be if you didn't read it while it was ongoing.
I picked it up right as it finished and the whole thing felt like an unecessary diversion. I can't image how it would feel to wait for it to slowly update.
What if I just wanna read it cuz the art looks really good?
There's absolutely nothing wrong with that. The mangaka clearly had a deep level of disdain towards the readers as the manga wound up, do you owe him nothing at all.
The opposite, it's good if you're not an otaku.
