This is pretty much the recurrent team. Deku is leaning to be a hero and Shigi is learning to be a villain. He went from an absolute manchild in his first invasion to having some sort of idea of where he stands.

i mean, the fact he was was nana's grandson who was likely forcibly given that quirk by AfO and then set up to kill his family and be abandoned makes him sympathetic enough. seems fairly obvious it wasn't just randomness or fate that created the circumstances which led to him being a villain, let alone one who worshiped THE villain.

Considering there is a world wide stage, he is probably the penultimate baddy, Deku's ultimate job will be saving his heart. The next arc is will have Quirk Galactus and Deku and Shiggy will team up.

All For One also gained his power from stealing quirks, Shiggy is a excellent disciple.

ReDestro wants to destroy Hero Society, too, but replace it with his own ideal society. That's a step up from Shiggy, and maybe the NEET will learn from it and evolve an idea of what to do after he's torn down everything to the horizons. Anarchy (big "A") might not be practical.

What's amusing about all this is, Hero Society had to have been All for One's idea. He was running Japan back then, at least major sectors of it, the plan couldn't have been put in place without his support. Destro was AfO's enemy, as much as the bearer of One for All. And now, they're all fighting again.

Have the kids fight against low level super villians and have to use their wits to win rather then a random out of nowhere power up that will break any ability for the world to function as a shounen superhero themed world.

Powerups arent' the only way to have someone get better as a hero.
Sometimes it just takes skill or having a cool adventure or a costume change or even a relationship between certain characters.

Powerups, espescially powerups in a world where fights define the story and where it will make you without equal RUIN charactes and works.

Litterally everything hori has patchworked onto shiggy hasn't actually made him more likeable or the league a more competent threat.

This should be a superhero themed sports manga with a ton of relationship stuff lore and some idol shit because of the PR and need to be popular stuff thrown in.

Overhaul should be an everlooming threat and his quirk yakuza and quirk enhancement drug should be a constant thing in the story.

There are a ton of cool stories in this that by themselves would have been the basic premise of a lot of other shounen.

The moment that they made stain's entire "Hero society is corrupt" thing as the ravings of a lone lunatic was the second that any hope I had for the series having a bit of depth was thrown out.
