Author was a prima dona that hated the fact the artist was more liked than he was with the anime staff. Houki, no matter how much he pushed never was that popular. He got easily annoyed with fans and lashed out. He went over the NDA on his publishing contract and was then blacklisted and his LN was dropped and therefor "canceled". Its still labeled under that from the previous publisher, but he found another and a new artist, who just plain sucks, and the sales never truly recovered and it became SOL 99% with 1% of the plot moving and the twist was obvious, MC and his two sisters were vact babies.
