There wasn't enough time for individual episode ones so they obviously had to do a few together. It's not like Yama hasn't had a lot of good screen time this season. It's sort of nice that they didn't force drama for all of them to happen.

Luckily this show isn't popular enough for it to be as much of a problem, but with yuri it generally seems that you get all the anti-yuri shitposters turn up if it doesn't have a kiss, no matter how obviously gay a character is.
I don't mind it not happening in this because it's a silly fun show and easily AOTS. Similarly I never expect it in CGDCT shows as they're generally have to maintain status quo on relationships.
