At least they changed it slightly in KnM. That's pretty rediculous though.
I never noticed this. Holy fuck though, Tate and Konosuba are the exact same.
maybe they used the same old picture of a walled city for reference?
maybe we can google it?
are they all just Ankh-Morpork from Discworld?
Reminder that every single one of these fucks it up by not having any adjacent farmland, and KnM is even worse for having a perfectly circular border wall.
I bet that Japan has stock image for isekai.
Isekai cinematic universe confirmed.
All isekai should burn like Ankh-Morpork did.
Seems like some kind of a troll/joke. They wouldn't do this otherwise.
literally Moscow
i dont believe you
I will play devils advocate as someone that actually hates isekai and say that this could be a coincidence. A round shape, an outer wall, and the course of the river are something that a lot of people may think a pleasant fictional city may look like. It comes naturally when you have to draw a city but are not really bound by a particular landscape or other natural occurences that would dictate the shape of the city. They draw the river like this because it feels more natural than a straight line, a wall is a given, the round shape feels more organic and the read rooftops have this warm, vaguely european look to them.
But nah, I'm pretty sure it's stolen.
They're in same isekai after all.
Every American city anime when?
>tfw isekai are in the same universe and we are getting setup for isekai avengers
Kenja no Mago literally reused the same house mansion design three times in the show. And it was a different house every time.
It's definitely intentional.
Paris is the same as well.
More like Paris
At least it's not a Prontera clone.
Aren't they all Kadokawa series?
they're literally traced
To be fair, most ancient and medieval city plans had the same template style.
BASED.
America has 2 types of cities, the early ones made before city planning that are more haphazard in their layout, and then the ones made after, which are mostly grids. Most fall into the second category though.
But the shield hero look exactly like Konosuba. Like they are the same.
>that perfectly straight river with no bridges across it
what hack designed this shit
This is the average design for a river side city pre 1800
Blessed thread.
Quick Yea Forums.
Post map porn.
that's literally the Hidden leaf village
Just look at the picture. Even the bridge position, the trees position, the outside city forest is identical. They just being lazy and copy the same city.
It's pretty much a standard historical European capital. Prague for example looked very similar 600 years ago, down to the river bend in the center. sums it up.
>all these comments about city sameness
>none about how if it was realistic the river would be brown from dumping and pollution and the air above the city would be filthy
>no comments about shit covered streets or general dilapidation of housing that would be present
I'm disappointed in you all
you still havn't proven why I should care
>pigeon-owned central station
TES isekai when?
Are these three shows set in the same universe?
This
>modern day MC is isekai'd
>never mentions the shit smell
>never mentions the disease
>never mentions the crime
>never mentions the filth
>never mentions the backwards culture
At least in shield hero you don't get killed by the food you're trying to grow... no wait that can happen, nevermind.
All three are literally the same image with some edits.
magic alleviates all that except for crime
crime gets worse
that reminds me, do we have a single isekai where MC decides that his newfound powers could be better used to seize control of the underworld and create his own organization?
well, aside from the obvious taepodong
They are all playing homage to the greatest city of all times, Ankh-Morpork.
Jokes on you. I wish my city had that pigeon owned station. They demolish the old one and built a modern one so ugly not even the pigeons wnat to go there.
I love how in Kenja no mago the first bridge was shifted so the streets don't connect.
Is this real please tell me it's fake
Why can't I found any ghetto on this city map?
I thought it was common in every american city.
>"Historic Building" (est. 1965)
GOLD
not every american city has black people
Are these actual screencaps? I know the Konosuba one is definitely from its show, but which episodes does the city show up in Tate no Yuusha and Kenja no Mago?
Have you ever heard about stock images?
>Why can't I found any ghetto on this city map?
They've been gentrified into hipster hovels.
looks like someone had a case of sour grapes after having a shitty vacation in Paris..
>WWII memorial
kek
it's an isekai without niggers
The streets are exactly the same, the scaling is the same
It's not even stolen, it's just reusing assets to cut costs
Kenja no mago is satire and i will not belive it any other way
is too fucking perfect for it NOT to be satire
artificial river, look at the bigger one on the right. artist juts forgot the bridges
Ok that's just blatant lazy.
You need to zoom out.
Is shifting bridge and so boats pass
>It's not even stolen, it's just reusing assets to cut costs
Aren't these all made by different studios though? Konosuba was made by Studio Deen, Shield Hero was made by Kinema Citrus, and Wise Man's Grandchild was made by Silver Link.
you are a coward and a tool
Kenja no Mago is a satirical adaptation of source material that takes itself 100% seriously.
Like look at this shit Yea Forums.
otakomu.jp
Literally the same konosuba house three times. They fucking know what they're doing.
ERECTION IN PROGRESS.
Corrupted nobles embezzled bridge budget.
none of those are good anime so why care?
Who is "reusing" assets? They don't even share the same background/photograpy companies or art directors. It's literally stealing
Pretty accurate desu. I've lived in over 100 towns and cities and can confirm.
I blame the ferryman union.
I've seen this many times before though, even in some crappy 18+ jrpgs that I can't even remember the name anymore.
fucking lmao this is pure gold
left is konosuba
right is kenja no mago
It's just stock footage my dude, none of them are stealing from each other.
Guess the animation studio got so fed up with isekaishit being forced down their throats by the big corporations that they decided to shit on Kenja
Good stuff, props to them.
>different studios
The lack of workforce In Japanese studio have forced studio to share their employees for a while now. It could literally be the same dude doing that particular image for each show.
That is lazy as fuck.
>shit on Kenja
but kenja is probably the best isekai that came out in years
so so generic i fucking hurts
I LOVE IT
Show me the original stock
If it's stock footage, then what was it originally made for?
Okay that's actually great.
Google image search my dude.
burden of proof, nigger.
I gonna get pissed if Arifureta get the same town.
Konosuba literally started out as a satire to mock isekai , overtime due to it's popularity it became what it mocked.
Yeah that's definitely intentional. So now that we know KnM is all in it for ironic shitposting, what's Shieldhero's excuse?
>I love to eat shit
The average isekai-drone.
Can't you see the color's different?
Was it really ironic or was it
>Fuck this shit, who cares anyway, I will just copypaste this fucking house, those isekai faggots will eat it up anyway
konosuba was never a satire.
>those necks
At least I already know that they lose weight.
that asset is probably owned by kadokawa or something
It's probably both, they're too lazy but at the same time saw it as a great opportunity top poke fun at isekai.
Dunno really, lets just roll with it.
I think one of the Naruto endings uses a similar image to represent konoha.
It is.
well except they are hardly as interesting as Ankh-Morpok
no dont get me wrong user
a average isekai is boring, shit like that cellphone thing i could not even finish because it was boring
but kenja is special
it EXCEDES in how fucking generic it is. its like the legendary super generic isekai from the legends
During one generic night the gods of generic gatter around a generic hill to sacrifice a generic goat, and from the blood of the goat they wrote the most generic legend on a generic piece of fabric
That generic legend was Kenja no mago
Not an argument.
>peoplegs only realizing now how silly kenja is
You've been missing out lads.
They literally have a boob chart in the OP because you know why the fuck not?
I'll argue once you present yours.
What the fuck?
Found another one, not sure if the anime has a full city shot though.
>itt: nips are cheap jews and hate originality
Wow what a shocker!
Do they have a werewolf guard? I don't think so.
The real redpill is that all isekai take place in the same universe but in different time periods.
No, that's Mahou Sensou
Wouldn't it make sense for people's houses to look similar if they used the same architect?
They probably just hired the same background studio for pennies and got lazy copypasta as expected.
Isekai maou has a pretty similar city.
I'm european and I think this is based.
FUCK Euro cities. "Culture" and "heritage" my ass. Shit is so boring. I want to live in a cyberpunk city.
>the rivers don't even enter or leave the city
BRAVO NOLAN
If I were an architect, I wouldn't want to make the exact same house again, just with a different paintjob.
Needs Martin Luther King Jr blvd/road/highway/avenue ect, in a REALLY bad part of town.
Big cities are usually next to a river.
Ahem-
Konosuba very lightly touched on the backwards culture during the trial in season 2, Kazuma remarks how he couldn't expect more than crooked rigged bullshit in some medieval/feudal setting.
Those walls must be 100m tall or some shit
You would because you'd eventually realize that there's only one type of house you're able to design that doesn't look like complete shit. Architects suffer from same-face syndrome too.
A walled medieval city built on rivers/with artificial rivers diverted through it is just the norm, though. The issue with OP is that it's literally the same piece of artwork. That's not a coincidence. That's one of two things: three different artists traced the same stock photo, or one artist's work was used 3 times in 3 different series. It's an absurd degree of laziness.
not if section 8 has anything to say about it
This is terrible
They need them to keep out the Titans.
looks like someone's getting a little defensive of their shitty euro city
>never mentions the shit smell
>never mentions the disease
>never mentions the crime
>never mentions the filth
>never mentions the backwards culture
But you encounter these things any time you travel, regardless of the era.
I wonder if any other shit was copied?
What's with all the trees?
Home...
>gf wants to watch Kenja no Mago
>But won't wach KonoSuba
Is it the Generic power of the generic gods?
FUCK I MISS COMING HOME AT LUNCH IN JUNIOR HIGH AND LEVELING A HUNTER IN ALDEBAARAN DUNGEON ON PRIVATE SERVERS IN 2003
I want to go back bros. ;_;
Really shows what NPCs isekaifags are. Literally falling for shitty template shows.
Reminds of 1984 and those fiction-writing machines employed by the ministry of truth.
>timeline that all isekai is in the same city at different eras
>each time a hero in legend is announced its vague
No, you'd make the same house over and over because you're swamped with work and wouldn't have the time to make special snowflake buildings all the time.
Isekai is so generic it's going to revolutionize the world of literature as the first form of art/ entertainment we successfully teach a neural network to automate.
>2019
>Still uses 'NPC'
haven't Yea Forums given you the memo to the new neologism yet
>killing Bonguns and Skeleton Soldiers in Payon dungeon as an Assassin trying to farm the cool hat and crit card, respectively
>starting a new character and heading to culverts
we can't go back, user
we can never go back
cyberpunk isekai when
this low budget mecha show put on more effort than those
Those isekai are copy and paste traditional European cities and that's just Gondor.
The bridge fell, a provisional bridge was built to the side.
All of those are present in every US city yet nobody talks about it cuz nobody wants to hear it
But you can't be smarter than those medieval peasants in cyberpunk.
is there any genre more creatively bankrupt and soulless than cyberpunk imagine the absolute trash that mixing isekai in would create
Just bullshit something, think stuff like the net gene from Blame! which you as a old human possess while new humanity has long since lost it.
What makes you think it doesn't like the others from above?
This would not happen if your engineers made proper waterworks, like ancient Rome.
Well that is because only minorities and trash whites deal with those issues and mainly those are self inflicted
It’s all fun and games until he accidentally triggers Landfall
Steampunk.
>to sacrifice a generic goat
I don't know why but this part made me chuckle.
There'd be no point in making that an isekai, Like it'd just be "modern man gets transported/reincarnated into very similar world where everything is ever so slightly worse"
From the getgo, the dystopian elements of cyberpunk, eg. the social commentary everybody misses because "omg cool cyborgs, it's like steampunk but with neon!" is the libertarian shitpit that east asian turned into during the latter half of the cold war. A cyberpunk isekai would basically be a japanese man wearing nightmare-vision goggles and wondering why everything looks the same. But at the same time it would also demand a level of self-awareness greater than 0 from the heisei generation regarding the polished plastic skinnerbox they live in, and that ain't happening.
No one takes steampunk serious, not even the steampunk nerds.
Often the backgrounds aren't made by the animation studio and instead are done by background art studios who basically paint bgs for their job. Maybe they had same client, but I didn't think they would reuse BGs that they did for others shows. Isekai is really getting lazy. Anyways, only big studios made their backgrounds themselves and have dedicated artists for it. Lesser and smaller studios that use lots of freelance tallent have to "outsource" them
Of course it's the same, they shoot all three series in the same city.
The most stereo typical goat ever. The one that appeal to you when you hear the word goat.
Can't wait to see an isekaied MC telling a cyberpunk world what crop rotation is and then being worshiped as a god for his knowledge.
Cinematic isekai universe
based
the platonic ideal of a goat
Moscow is isekai?!
Piked up. I love Gary Stu story.
I've lived in both London and Paris and I'd be hard pressed to say which one prompted the artist to draw this
Isnt it possible they are just nodding to eachother, a wink-wink that they are different stories in different dimensions? Wouldn't surprise me that studios would do something like that
That is quite clearly an estate you stupid faggots.
Probably all under the same parent company or production committee. The anime studio doesn't actually own most of the work they produce for an adaptation, so if there are other repeating faces between the shows then it'd be no surprise that they can reuse assets without running into issues with intellectual property.
Needs a "minorities and rape" square next to the commie blocks.
And exact same tree placements as well.
This is really stupid design.
The Roman sewer system still drained right into the Tiber. I would not want to be downstream of the exit. en.wikipedia.org
>commies and minorities living together
Not a chance. The former only exists because they can afford to live gated from the people whose interests they claim to advocate for.
Nobody cares about your shitty isekai
look at the brightside
if someone builds a real city with the same zoning and urban planning, you might be able to get yourself get hit by a truck and be sent to another world
> "minorities and rape" square
There is already the central station.
They all have the same gardener too.
>They had a goddess who lived in the sewage system
KEKus Maximus
en.wikipedia.org
Most cities are stupidly designed if they're designed at all.
>shit covered streets
the average medieval city ordinances made dumping waste into the streets illegal
Just shows the level of world building in isekai shit.
Probably open segments in the walls underneath the water.
Back to where you came from Yea Forumsermin
And the clouds?
...
What's with that lazy wall design anyway? Walls are expensive, both in the building process and in manning them.
That's the reason why is densely packed inside the city walls with a bunch of houses on the outside. That's how it is normally.
Isekai cities are dumb
>anime about the meta production of these isekai shows
>the city is actually a place in New Zealand, because it's always fucking NZ, that studios rent to film their isekai in
>Kazuma, Naofumi, etc. are just actors
FUCKING FUND IT
Did you hear about the FBI tape revelations?
damn
The virgin copypasted city vs The chad Megalopolis
Jokes on you, my city has no river.
Clouds aren't real so they don't matter.
I have not, whats the story?
cool, thanks user
Why bother being original with the town if nothing else is?
>how do you want your plumbing and public transportation, sir?
>just fuck my shit up
When i saw the Threads it reminded me of these drawings.
>tree line all the way up to your walls
>archers defending the wall completely useless
>thin walls
>few towers
>wide streets to advance down
>inner wall even thinner and lacking proper gates
>inner wall not connected with the castle
>castle only commands the river
>no food production
>no docks
0/10 would sack
You son of a bitch
Ankh-Morpork is just London though.
Also, it's just generic Medieval city. Most of the prosperous ones were on rivers and were walled.
Hit me with that good shit /tg/.
I need some more city layout porn.
I don't get it, are you calling this one dumb?
>my city has a river AND a building with shots still wedged in it from the war of 1812
Who else /comfyfarmcounty/
Credit:
deviantart.com
Morioh-cho in JoJo Part 4 is, despite being in Japan, based almost entirely on American towns (with the exception of Kira's family home).
>church next to the river
Dumb
That's deep.
No, this one is Greek city Byzanthe under siege by Macedonians.
>Indian Name High School
>Go Bulldogs!
quads of truth
>would sack
Easy to say that until you have to fight a wall of lvl 99 transcend classes blocking your way
Yeah that's why I was confused
Ballsdeep
elevens are incapable of original thought
> magic never progresses
> architecture and intelligent thought never progresses
>humans and demon folk in an eternity race war
>races literally flop in and out of existence depending on the series
> every generic hero looks like Erdrick for some reason
>would kind of explain why everyone knows Japanese
Rapes of parishoners and shit + plus someone else wrote a lot of his uni work and most of his speeches not to mention who his (((backers))) were.
standard story really if you're paying attention same with all the prominent BLM, feminists and lbgtqxwtf campaigners.
Holy shit.
More like it was copied from the Mont Saint Michel. And Gondor was created after it too.
>Thames
NO
>he hasn't been to Sakitsu Cathedral in the Amakusa Islands
It's one of the more famous churches in Japan so when the Japanese think of a church in a scenic area they will likely think of one on a lake.
>Ankh-Morpork
RIP Pteri
Any of you watch Gaimans adaptation of Good Omens?
meanwhile in america
Not surprising. I thought it was something to do with the prominence of all the MLK streets in every city.
user please, I'm trying to contemplate a Yea Forums post here. You don't find gems like that every day.
>drug dealer park
No, it's rape park where I live.
soul
But that one's Paris.
What about standard coastal fishing town/village layouts around a bay or river inlet?
That looks like it is reasonably far enough from the river though, the one in the pic is right next to it
>More
BALMORAAAAAAAAA
AOTYAY
Only chads build their cities on top of lakes, rivers are for pussies
Anyone got an old city map of Nagasaki pre bigboi or Hiroshima?
>Drug dealer park.
Yea it is London.
Remind me where this was Mexico or south america?
no one has ever produced a good argument for why this is bad
it's Mexico City
How would isekai protagonist fare?
You can't go even to the nearest store there without a car. That's why americans are so fat.
Oh boy here come the mesoamerican autists
There is no argument for why it's bad.
Old Morroc niggas rise up.
Its not though because it doesnt have a place labeled Sharia District
>Dico Dico Dico
Is that the prostitute guild?
Takes too much space while producing too much waste. Contibutes massively to global warming
I live near Paris and there's everything
Source? Image search gives me nothing.
Is that real?
What do you think the Block housing part represents?
Medieval fantasy Megalopolis are even more fantastic. Do you have any idea of how many modern technologies are needed to sustain population of millions of people?
Oh gee, I wonder how that happened teehee...
lolwut
Do you have no conception of physics and ecology? A city produces massively more waste and heat within its limited confines than suburbia.
except the cathedral....
There is no architecture at all, it's just some barracks. Looks more like a prison camp. You can't even call this shit a town.
notnecessarily per person
it's not a town, it's a residential zone on the outskirts of a city
Alright, hands up if the music started playing in your mind automatically.
Cities are much more efficient per capita.
this, American cities are either unlivable or too expensive for most decent people its really unfortunate that they exist but its out of necessity
Clearly it's a swamp, not rivers!
>global warming
Transport logistics of suburbias like that alone already outweight city waste and pollution. That's murrican way of doing things, but that doesn't mean murricans are right.
Wait death march had this nice of an artwork?
>Fuck this shit, who cares anyway, I will just copypaste this fucking house, those isekai faggots will eat it up anyway
Waste of space
What's wrong with it?
>it's a residential zone
So, a camp, like some fucking Gulag.
Everyone know baka howaito piggu gaijin have shit cities compared to glorious nippon.
What's NOT wrong with it? It just screams of Murrican attitude of 'fuck you got mine'
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA
Montreal?
Kingston?
York?
Everything. Soulless barracks without any infrastructure.
Do you know just how big America is and why "waste of space" isn't much of an argument?
Guys, the demons are the arab / muslims.
This is a cruader's tale.
Who would think this is a good idea?
I think it's because it is preplanned so it looks inorganic.
Ni'wah.
It's an argument because you literally can't go anywhere without a car when these 'towns' occupy such huge spaces. It's not normal. Americans can't walk around on their own without a car.
There is no where to expand the city.
You can travel on foot there and get where you want in reasonable amount of time doing so due to undergrounds/metros and public transportation. If you get rid of private autos cities become so much more navigable and less wasteful. Meanwhile you literally cannot live in suburbia like that without personal car.
Redpill me on why you should have uneven circular walls
>isekai architects
well there is an interesting and novel idea
What's wrong with it?
It's not just about physical land it's about efficiency. It's incredible difficult to have infrastructure centres with suburban sprawl like that, you can't possibly cover the entire area with public transport and commercial centers within walking distance. You have to drive 15 minutes to the nearest supermarket and murrcan public transport is a joke.
You can't approach it on foot when water's high. It's fort on an island offshore of France.
the european can't comprehend still having millions of square miles of uninhabited land waiting to be used
The absolute state of Isekai shows, They're so lazy.
I pray this fad dies out in 2020.
You can always go underground
>It's either every person has a one story suburbian house or everyone lives in a sardine can
There's a thing called a compromise.
Problem's not circular walls per say it's river flowing through the city instead of city growing from one side of it. In real life fortifications are placed into narrow places where enemy can attack from one-two sides only, and in isekais castles and cities around them are basically undefendable by normal means, only brainless heroics from overpowered transmigrators can help defenders.
It's "N'wah" you fucking Swit!
Pretty much this, they are a lazy fucks though.
You're like a little bird, watch this.
the treeline should be cleared back at least a couple hundred metres too
What's the rainfall/snowfall here to need such steep hooves.
It create dead zone.
America has so much open space that we can choose to not live like fucking cattle you euro fuck.
*roofs
The animation is shit half of the time, but the background is amazing.
lmao
Oh then nevermind, perfect plan. Just that the French has a terrible navy to defend the water approach so someone can just starve you out.
I was expecting the comment to be about sacrificing the extra pop growth.
>Water levels rise by a tiny bit
Oops, there goes half the city.
Great design.
>we still have space to pollute
Not for long, global warming's a thing
China?
>so much space but my kid can't walk to school on his own or I get the cops called on me
>tfw some murrikan states have literally reached India-tier of poo in loo
What went wrong burgers? I'm talking to you specifically California.
actually much of the benefits of smaller urban areas are about transport especially they also benefit small business districts.
I believe aztecs had dams built all over the place. They had massive boat fleets sailing those rivers and lakes, and this cannot happen without dams
>just because we have almost infinite space also means we have infinite energy
Didn't it float?
Welcome to Hong Kong / Richmond / any man created island.
Small business is a textbook definition of waste as well. Literally leeches who suck state treasuries dry and claim to be independent and efficient and profitable.
I love you can tell this was made by some MMO addicted dumbos
Do the netherlands thing
what thing
Imagine a circular wall, you'd have to have a lot of archers posted around the wall to guard it.
Now imagine a sharp edged star wall, you can post guards on the far edge to shoot arrows to anyone that gets close to the walls.
Make free land out of the ocean like sea germans do.
>no where to expand the city
That is an artificial island they built from, the city grows to be gigantic
isekai fags are the most pathetic of all fandom
Make it 8 sided. Then you are talking.
We don't talk about California. Nobody wants to talk about California.
I live in an area like this and it fucking sucks
at least there is no crime because everyone is a rich white person
its a commieblock spread thinly on the ground
like i said we can choose not to live like cattle. they chose to.
solar pays for itself and we can recycle. that easily offsets the carbon footprint of a single family home.
like I said we can choose. I can live in the suburbs away from city life, or i can live in the center of it all. eurocucks dont the same access to that luxury.
What's the problem with small businesses?
Do americans not believe in gardening or is the district just new? What's the point of having a yard if all you have is a lawn. And why don't they fence and build hedges, do you enjoy your neighbor seeing what you're eating for dinner?
>Walk on foot everywhere
>Ignoring the physical carrying capacity of a human being
You could carry like 4 grocery bags. You'd be making trips to the grocery store every day if you weren't a bachelor or living without children.
fuk you pistachio city was great design
>Small business is a textbook definition of waste as well. Literally leeches who suck state treasuries dry and claim to be independent and efficient and profitable.
so much open land that solar is a great option, and plenty of space to hide all the waist produced from nuclear power.
Why not ?
That's not how sieges work.
bring in third world people become third world society its that simple
How though? I don't follow your reasoning, got a link?
>not doing trips to grocery store every day
Are murricans really this lazy?
Just bring a little shopping trolley. Or a bike with a basket.
Solar is a meme nuclear is where its at either way you'd have environmental agencies up your ass lobbying against anything you tried to do.
Long nose tribe.
What's wrong with this?
I'll give you this.
Get a trolley bag if you need to carry more you lazy fucking landwhale. Euros do make more frequent smaller trips to closer foot- or public transport accessible stores. You still save time on account of not having to drive across town in gridlock traffic, circle for hours looking for a space to park, wander the walmart aisles for hours, spend another hour at the checkout counters because half the town comes to the same building, and then driving all the way back in more gridlock traffic.
What about infrastructure. How do you afford to supply so much space with infrastructure which can't be decentralized and the cost of building directly scales with space?
>want to supply 1000 people with fiber optics internet in the city
>just lay one cable along one road
>want to supply 1000 people with fiber optics internet in the suburbs
>have to lay a hundred cables to every block.
Gee user, why is the state full of gays, hipsters, trashy celebrities, third world immigrants, and gets hit by natural disasters every month such an awful place to live? I can't figure out how it got so bad!
What do you mean "how"?
Big businesses produce more and cheaper and distribute more efficiently. To compete small businesses need government help. It's, like, common knowledge.
A church of that caliber is supposed to fill you with awe and calmness
Being next to a busy city river is too noisy.
It used to be where the hipster burgers and bars are now
iirc it's turkey
Oh yeah, live like some peasant from the 1920s. Sure. No. Fuck that.
It's about efficiency. You can make 1 trip and that lasts 1-2 weeks, or you can waste time and energy making the same trip every day of the week. The amount of time you waste is the same each time, and you pay more because you have to buy smaller quantity of goods each time because you have to carry it yourself.
don't forget about floods
How come USA is called richest country in the world if her GDP is spent on dumb things like that?
Holy shit I came looking at that.
This is exactly what I was thinking too, maybe it's some inside joke
Churches are a worthless waste of space. You can't refute this.
I really like it if they put some extra effort into their work to increase the immersion.
You're looking at a different issue. Star forts came about as a response to changes in technology. The deadzones are irrelevant, because the spot with the deadzone in a shaped encampment isn't where attackers will scale the wall. The sharp-edged design was intended to reduce the surface area presented to attacking cannons, which is why it was a common design for citadels guarding a naval approach and became ubiquitous in the era of gunpowder warfare. The reduced surface area wasn't detrimental to defenders because you're relying on the cannons mounted there and not a line of shoulder-to-shoulder archers.
The circular wall in the KnM screenshot doesn't present deadzones like in your image, and in the actual design where those deadzones would be present, they don't matter, because the archers there would cover the actually scalable sections of wall and the deadzone would fall in a place where scaling is impractical.
synagogues and mosques are worse
ankh-morpork has a fucking bulge around the center, it's not a gentle bend like the ones in the anime
Not to those eras, stupid faggot.
You are wasting more time trying to appear smart to other people than actually being smart
Looks like OP took all you idiots on his ruse cruise. Well done lad.
>It's about efficiency. You can make 1 trip and that lasts 1-2 weeks, or you can waste time and energy making the same trip every day of the week.
I buy stuff on my way from work every second day and also buy lots every morning of sunday/evening of saturday if i want to sleep into afternoon. It's called efficient city planning ya murrican pleb
>when you copy another students homework but they tell you to change the words around so you don't get caught
If i want fiber ill live in the city. not really something ill want or need on my 16 acre property away from other people.
That's not exactly a refutation, but okay.
>all three owned by Kadokawa
>isekai quartet is already a thing
You have to be dumb to not realize that this is but mere teasing for the upcoming isekai cinematic universe
Isn't that Euphrates?
>implying the US spends anything on infrastructure
Small businesses waste less on middle management and the profit directly to the producer
>farmer who has one or more shops he supplies in a commercial center gets all the profit minus the cost of the shop and employees
vs
>farmer who has to sell to a food corporate, who sells to a wholesaler, who sells to a retailer gets almost none of the retail price
this is unironically hilarious, but it could be explainable as a bascule bridge
Sumaria, home.
>How come USA is called richest country in the world
Dumb people say dumb thing.
But what if you want both a fiber internet and enough space to raise a family? Why are dense suburbs with spacious multi tenant buildings impossible in your mind?
No user, that's the Nile
>animetosho.org
having to got the store so many times to get stuff is the opposite of efficient you dumb ass. way to be efficient and being inefficient.
where is the holocaust memorials?
It's clearly the Volga
>awe and calmness
Huh. Thanks. Never thought of it that way.
Not enough flood planes.
Are you sure that's not a canal? But bridges is a huge mistake.
GDP measures all economic production, which includes that. Also, each of those homes in the suburbs is worth a fraction of what it costs to buy an apartment in a European city or, the once in a blue moon empty lot that can be developed into a new home. So there's GDP increase from people buidling those new homes exactly how they want it.
More like Yellow River you idiot
No yard, no garage, have to be mindful of my noise so I dont disturb my neighbors, have to deal with loud neighbors. Its about muh freedom.
factual and accurate
Population not packed tightly enough.
Yes it is. London has become an absolute shithole that represents how a once powerful empire can fall into ruin. But don't say anything bad about the refugees or you will get fucking arrested for hate speech.
Kek
It’s not always Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard, sometimes it’s Rosa Parks Avenue instead.
>energy efficiency
>let me waste energy to move this 2 ton vehicle to transport 100kg of myself and groceries.
>peasant
>being able to walk and carry your own stuff is being a peasant.
What the hell are you thanking him for? No one cares that you're an impressionable idiot. I don't understand why you made this post.
What about good village design?
Are seriously telling me FARMERS are having profits that come NOT FROM GOVERNMENT? Come the fuck on, small farmers exist only because government wants them to exist. Big farming enterprises routinely outperform small ones on all levels of production.
Shops I buy my groceries in are located on my route to and from work. And they don't ever have lines because, as I said, efficient city planning. I'm wasting like what, 15 minutes per week on that? And I don't have to carry four grocery bags every sunday because of that? And neither my neighbours, not single one of them?
Magic prevents these problems. How fucking dumb can these climate truthers be?
*awful
Literally the same picture (though some of the streets in the third one have been painted blue)
>has become
London has always been shit, every major city of a country is shit, even tokyo is shit.
>Big businesses produce more and cheaper and distribute more efficiently. To compete small businesses need government help
I think you've got things a bit confused. larger businesses don't magically do things cheaper. In fact, going through middle-stages and wholesalers and needing extra levels of mediating management between the different corporate levels often costs both them and the consumers more money than small and local businesses. But when your overall capital is larger, you can afford to do several things:
You can afford to run at a loss for a longer period of time than anyone else
You can afford to operate one local region at a loss without a net loss in profits because other regions are also generating steady income.
The net result is the ability to offer cheaper deals to the end consumer short-term in order appear as the better long-term deal and out-compete local businesses that can't afford to compete with their prices and run at that loss for as long. The larger company puts competition out of business by starving them out, then uses their new monopoly of the local industry to recoup their losses long-term. Small businesses generally receive government support to prevent this, or at least deter larger companies from doing it because monopoly is unhealthy for the economy in general. By subsidizing the little guy, you make it more costly and less profitable for the big guy to make a concentrated attempt to put them out of business.
>yard
Multi tenant buildings can have yards on the apartments on the ground floor. If you just want some sun and no plants, then a balcony.
>garage
They have a collective underground garage
>noise
Just afford a good building with good insulation
Its funny you say that because big buisness is only able to do all that by taking advantage of public infrastructure and policies allowing them to outsource their jobs. This is especially prevalent in the tech industry where everything is subsidized and you can drive down wages with H1B
DUMP ASAP
or it could be a fucking joke, you prissy little faggot
I wish we were joking but europe will probably fall into a civil war at some later date.
>river runs off the cliff face
>and then just fucking disappears
>docking built at the bottom of the cliff where the river would be running off to
Terrible.
He's thanking him for giving some insight and perspective that he had never thought about before, and that educational posts like these should be encouraged instead of the standard namecalling and insults. There is literally nothing wrong with thanking anonymous on the internet.
There is no way there is that much parking in a city
>building a village next to an eroding cliff
>good
i see your fort and i give you a castle
Why would you live there?
The waterfall is behind the cliff you dummy.
>erosion prone Chalk cliffs
>No sea wind shelter
>no bay or river mouth
Nigga the average isekai is a jap student not a fucking spaniard conqueror.
Which country are you basing your knowledge on?
>huh, I never thought about feeling that emotion when I look at X, thanks anonymous poster!
Cringe. Develop your own feelings, loser.
>What the hell are you thanking him for?
Because, unlike you, he provided an actual answer instead of shitposting. This user also made a good point
Ok, can you provide an example of the good design?
That doesn't stop horseshit, cowshit, pigshit, and a thousand other kinds of shit from accumulating. Nor does it stop the trash that people create from accumulating.
again its about muh freedom. I want the freedom to do what I want with my yard. If I want a pool I can put in a pool. If I want a greenhouse i can build one. And an underground garage is not the same as an attached garage on a house. I can do woodworking in a garage or any sort of car modification projects. cant do such things in a shared parking garage.
Is this what american corporate propaganda has turned into? How dare you have your own business and be a middle class citizen, either you're a low paid slave to the megacorp overlord or you're the enemy?
Tip harder
>those couple of houses right in front of the king/ruler castle
Yes and you have the freedom to move to a rural area, buy a cheap plot of land and have all of that in europe too, but then you have to commute 3 hours a day to work.
thats why you hire a gong farmer to clean it up.
the trash that would accumulate would all be biodegradable anyway
What's this you've said to me, my good friend? I'll have you know I graduated top of my class in conflict resolution, and Ive been involved in numerous friendly discussions, and I have over 300 confirmed friends. I am trained in polite discussions and I'm the top mediator in the entire neighborhood. You are worth more to me than just another target. I hope we will come to have a friendship never before seen on this Earth. Don't you think you might be hurting someone's feelings saying that over the internet? Think about it, my friend. As we speak I am contacting my good friends across the USA and your P.O. box is being traced right now so you better prepare for the greeting cards, friend. The greeting cards that help you with your hate. You should look forward to it, friend. I can be anywhere, anytime for you, and I can calm you in over seven hundred ways, and that's just with my chess set. Not only am I extensively trained in conflict resolution, but I have access to the entire group of my friends and I will use them to their full extent to start our new friendship. If only you could have known what kindness and love your little comment was about to bring you, maybe you would have reached out sooner. But you couldn't, you didn't, and now we get to start a new friendship, you unique person. I will give you gifts and you might have a hard time keeping up. You're finally living, friend.
>if you want nice things, you have to move to a rural area
What a retard.
Underrated post
Are apartments the future? I can't imagine in 100 years we'll still have the space for shit like this
Well that is what happens when you allow your foreign and domestic policies to be enforced by an unaccountable power in Brussels. Eventually you feel misrepresented and abused. We should have learned from colonialism that rule from afar is not sustainable, yet we allowed it to happen in Europe and the results have been short term gain and now we are in the long term loss and it is only downhill from here.
and thats whats great about burgerland. I can have all that and only have a 30 minute commute with traffic.
>think "HA! my city aint like this!"
>suddenly remember we actually do exist surrounding a river, we just moved the water course somewhere else
>everything else is on point
Well fuck
Biodegradable over like months, but in the mean time it would smell fucking awful and be all over.
Most medieval cities were hell holes for anyone not rich, that were only kept around because groups of people attract more people.
Actually made me laught
You win this time faggot
Move aside grandpas, here's the real future.
In America this is true. You use a car to travel go urban areas to have fun and live in rural areas for peace. Living in an urban area only results in poor, overpriced living conditions, coupled with high crime, low QoL, and high sustainability costs.
>He doesn't know about the shit-carriers
i'd say we're already pretty much there. if you type in "(RANDOM JAPANESE NAME) is suddenly thrust into a fantasy world full of hot babes" into one of those AI bots, it spits out a pretty convincing isekai plotline
I will cut you nigger, nobody talks shit about prontera.
Looks to me like you leave yourself open to attack by giant floating chinese letters
0/10 would not build
Dude, Magic, Lmao.
most people dont know shit about medieval Europe beyond dark age memes and fantasy games
It's the mages guild. It has a military governor, but I don't remember where their house is located.
there is, but there is never a spot for you
at least it was before I fucked everythang up

Amazon in a nutshell.
Yeah so fucking dumb, mate.
Big middle age Cathedral are next to a river because that's where the fucking stones are delivered, retard.
Research "cathedral" on google map and zoom in on every point, they're all next to their river.
South of the trap cathedral.

The euro bullies and that paedophile heath literally hoodwinked the brits into joining the common market which
Enoch Powell tried his best but the bastards literally shut down his speeches and leaked defamatory propaganda to their media stooges
The big businesses also get gov help and no taxes.
One centralized company for each area of business is better but greed will make them into dictators so it's not feasible.
Dubs if true
*which they knew and planned well ahead of time how to sleep walk us into a suicidal political union.
Literally not even a village; it's a hamlet.
Some archangel trolled humans saying: "you'll cross the bay and die trying, and when you reach that rock over there, build me a fucking church on top of it. When you're done, everyone must come on pilgrimage by crossing the bay too and die everytime the tide comes up."
And they fucking did it the absolute madmen.
This thing is beautiful.

That is very cool.
Good, goy, now go back to your soulless stable and get ready for work!
You can when you pretend you can cultivate. Cyberfags would go crazy for something 'natural'.

Sure thing, tovarisch, but Chairman Stalin still wants you shot because of anti-communist thoughts. Sorry.
Look up present day Mexico city, they already filled up the lake.
I can only imagine how polluted that lake would be if they just keep building around them, disgusting
There's a plant on the second floor that moves, its on the centre-right.

If I knock on their door and ask them where the isekai slave market is, do you think they'll be offended?
Shana x Gil?
Are you sure you didn't just copy that off the back of a manga or LN? Creepily accurate.
You'd probably mispronounce it and end up insulting their god/city founder/other important figure so yes.
Where the fuck is the "Obligatory Mosque"? This is so fucking inaccurate, every city must atleast have one.
They're all online vidya games; of course there's gonna be some software piracy.
>No adjacent farmland
Are you blind or something?
Already happening
First two are definitely traced. Look at the gap between the forests in the upper left, the curve in the street just below the bridge just before the river flows out the top of the image, and the split in the two streets to the left of the next-to-last bridge before the river flows out of the bottom of the city.
Have the 11's discovered this yet?
try it yourself. google "talk to transformer" and weave your very own isekai fantasy!

Has this guy done Every Japanese/Australian/South American/Mexican/Third World City yet?
Why does that average highschooler have so many names?
>Pingu-sama
>even some spic cities look like this
damn
And having your own car is bad how? Better than state-run trains that break down all the time.
Shit's amazing.
he gains names the more gods he kills to become the king of kings
Are you from the USA? You're really underestimating how huge the country is; a common mistake made by people from western European nations.
Suburbs and lawns were conceived as a way to protect a good chunk of the nation's population from nuclear war (which would be targeting dense cities) and neatly-cropped lawns prevents the spread of fire from house to house.
Either that or President Name High School. If it's a smaller city you can expect an Obscure President High School (eg. anyone between Jackson and Lincoln and everyone between Lincoln and Teddy Roosevelt).
>Suburbs and lawns were conceived as a way to protect a good chunk of the nation's population from nuclear war
what
> neatly-cropped lawns prevents the spread of fire from house to house.
WHAT
>mexican
american city layout with more ghetto more close (exception with cultural things, thats are copied from yurop, even layout), also alternancy between fancy and/or modern buildings with literal half destroyed/dimolished ones
Global warming stopped being "a thing" years ago you retard, it's "climate change" now. Did your NPC script not get the update to the narrative?
which one?
see
There has to be a lawsuit incoming. This is blatant plagiarism. They can't explain this away. Those cities are literally the exact same (same streets, same patches of forest, etc.).
Because that's an efficient grid, Pedro, but not the same used by the Spaniards. Dark age cities were so shit because houses grew like fungi, with no planning. It was only at the start of the Renaissance when some monks translated Vitruvius' works and cities began to make sense again.
Is this the falconia city in bagserk
>Better than state-run trains that break down all the time.
You've never been to Asia I see. Let alone Japan even Hong Kong, Singapore, and Taiwan have trains that far surpass the west in terms of reliability, efficiency, effectiveness, speed, you name it.
look up the word satire.
It's a parody for sure, satire usually imply some malicious intent behind the mockery, where as parody implies loving intent behind the mockery. I'd say it's a parody, but I wouldn't ague too hard if someone wanted to call it a satire. Whichever it is, it's not a deconstruction because it plays straight with the isekai/rpg tropes.
I studied urban planning and after this pic I can't stop screaming
there's too much building diversity there for the average American city, it's more like that whole image is just McMansions, or a single mall and 10 square miles of parking
the poo in the river is more notorious now because we are dealing with millions instead few thousands in the past
>There has to be a lawsuit incoming
Pretty sure all of those series are owned by the same company (kadokawa).
yea but WHY does it suck. you just think it sucks because youve never known anything else you fuckign retard. Not to get too /pol/ here but people like you are unironically the reason why everything is going to shit
wait is the earth not warming up or something? or is this just another climate shift?
The internet quality in cities is trash compared to the suburbs because cities are full of poor ass niggers who don't maintain anything and all use wifi for every single device, creating insufferable wireless congestion. In the suburbs, houses are far apart enough that one neighbor's wifi doesn't interfere with anyone else's.
Everything seems to be improving
We live in strange times where the quality of life is increasing but the perception of it isnt.
>spaniard conqueror.
Fuck, I want this.
I just checked and you're only half right. KonoSuba and Kenja no Mago were both published under Kadokawa, but Tate no Yusha no Nariagari has no connection to the company. The animes were all produced by different companies too.
Built over sand, capillarity eating the buildings from the base. Probably they spend millions on maintenance every year to avoid collapse and advanced erosion
Why is Lain so cute? It's a shame that her anime is so short.
I'm starting to suspect this is an elaborate inside joke.
only if the isekai guy is from magicland
>Can't wait to see an isekaied MC telling a cyberpunk world what crop rotation is and then being worshiped as a god for his knowledge.
cyberworld could be so shit that vanilla agriculture is an alien term to them, mostly because any crop ceased to exist in some point
>using wifi at home
>not having ethernet to every room
No, you're free to leave whenever you want.
I thought it was called "climate catastrophe" now.
>is there any genre more creatively bankrupt and soulless than cyberpunk
dieselpunk, but it's just IRL but with more fancy cars
Yeah I love using eithernet on my smart phone, tablet, handheld gaming device, and laptop.
Which btw are the only internet-capable devices that 99% of people use. Only nerds like us still have tower-style PCs.
>even in isekai future china the commies still control the internet
Wow, reading this is kinda making me feel sad.
Basé et rougepillulé
Forget what I said. Turns out Tate no Yusha was acquired by Media Factory which is a subsidiary of Kadokawa. It's still lazy.
Damn, really? I thought the move to "climate change" was because people started questioning why the polar icecaps and the amount of snow topping mountains increased instead of disappeared, so they had to use terminology that wasn't as specific as "warming" to get people on their side. To then jump to "catastrophe" seems oddly specific again.
>a fucking neural network make a 10x times more enjoyable story
>you will likely live to see the day that every rainy/warm/cold day will be blamed as a result of "Alarmbad weatherwrongs"
this isn't SWSH to have copypasted clouds
No user, you have to live in a rat's nest otherwise you don't get to be smug about how cultured and sophisticated you are as shit literally trickles down on you from the hovel above your own.
I fucking love my McMansion and my lawn. Oh no the farmer's market and train station are 10 minutes away by car! How will I live? This is a peasant's mentality. There's a golf course, trackfield, and tennis courts 2 blocks away. Corporate offices are maybe 30 minutes away.
Suburbia is built like this for families and homogeneous communities. If you're hipster trash that prefers to live in a hole in the wall and visit bathhouses and "artshows", I can see why the lack of ethnic food and violent crime might not appeal to you.
That Isekai with the NotDanganronpa super duper "best in the world" 15 YO. Also Gate!
that's your average megalopolis tho
it's an isekai city not an indian one
>Hit me with that good shit /tg/.

Don't you mean native isekai?
I'd guess they might be being pushed by similar organisations, there could be some shifty name licensing going on, I wonder who owns the rights to public use of his name?
just because we have pieces of plastic in our pockets it doesnt mean that quality of life is improving dude

Does anyone have that image of those two harem shows having the exact same first episode.
